I still do not understand it... These figures are somewhat distorted because of YAC... but the number of under 10 yard passes regardless of YAC is ridiculous...Esp when we do not have the receiver who can create separation.

I'm telling you all...the reason those interceptions were so routine for the LSU defense was because they knew they didn't have to worry about us going deep so they were able to cheat up on the receivers, and when Erik threw the ball, they were right there!

Ainge threw several more than Several Late game Interceptions this year that almost Costs us and did in the SECCG... because of this so is Cut to blame... Easy to see when you are throwing less than 6 yds most of the time you are not going to get Sacked as often....

i hope so Ras. a decent deep ball and a couple of upsets, and Foster just might sneak in the back of the Heisman race.
No way will he be anywhere near the heisman race. He have a similar year to this year. He wont stack up near the yards he'd need to have to be a heisman candidate in our offense. I hope he doesnt pull a Gerald Riggs after he was getting hyped about being a Heisman dark horse.

To "pull" a Gerald Riggs, he'd have to first have the terrible attitude problem that GR had. AF is nowhere close to that, and while his on the field talent may not be very good, he has given his all every time I've seen him, which is light years more than I can say about Riggs.

Foster would have to pick up about 4 tenths of a second on his forty time to pull this off. The guy is just not fast enough to make the long runs. However, he is great at gaining 5-10 yds a carry. He has some of the best vision that I have ever seen. I always said if Foster was as fast as Coker that he would contend with McFadden for the Heisman.
