There are just too many deer. Hunting over corn increases the numbers killed in a year. I'm surprised they didn't allow it years ago.

My other citation was for 2 short lobsters in the Keys during mini season. The rent a cop measured them wrong and when we complained he threatened to write us up for everything we had.....probably another 10 - 15 would have been shorts the way he was measuring. I was told later by a local that he was brought in from Tampa just for mini-season and that he probably needed two bugs for dinner that night. Just pay the fine and don't bother to drive back to court because he wouldn't show up anyway.....he'd be back in Tampa.
