They start the day off early with a breakfast burrito and the go into a roughly 1.5 hour session focusing on power lifting and speed training. This is done 6 days a week. This includes back squats, power cleans, medicine balls, free weights, chains, heavy bags, sleds, mat drills, plyometrics, and absolutely no machines.

Pruitt mostly pleased with Vols’ offseason workouts
Coach Fitz may well be the most important hire that Pruitt has made. I was very happy when he decided to turn down the Maryland offer and stay to finish what he started.
