I will never be one to call for a coach's head. Its just totally ridiculous to me. However, when Dave Hart stated he had to talk Holly off the ledge a time or two, tells me she does not have the confidence in herself to get this done. Players can sense weakness and take on the coach's personality. Just my thoughts, but as I stated, I am a fan and that is all. I have no expertise.

Polly is about to sign a big ole girl from the country that is tall, fast, coordinated, and a wide load too. She is Elvira Tittsworth and is about to break onto the scene. Other than her and Harris, Polly want sign any others. :eek:lol:

Instead of trying to shoot the 3 pointer, I think all the players should work on their mid range game and then it will be easier to feed the post when the defender has to guard against a consistent 15 to 18 foot jumper.

What does the bolded in your statement mean? Details please.

I think Tennessee needs to play two preseason games instead of one. Let the girls do extra running instead of missing games for cuting class, this kills team chemistry that takes a few games to get back. Mercedes Russell got stronger as the season went along. She has all summer to work out and will be much stronger and better next year. Diamond DeShields was hurt much of the season and just got better late in the season; she will be much improved and will be a much better leader neat season. Te’a Cooper will be much improved; she will be one of the best point guards in the college game next year. Kortney Dunbar will improve her defense and offense and get stronger next year. Andraya Carter and Jordan Reynolds will be about the same next year as this year. Alexa Middleton and Jaime Nared will show some improvement. Meme Jackson could be a wild card but will be hard to get much playing time because of all the girls in front of her at the guard position. Sure will miss Bashaara Graves, Nia Moore and Jasmine Jones. Sure need to pick up at least two players hope from the Junior college.

One thought here..... in looking at foreign players..... remember that non-USA big players are not used to - normally - banging under the basket... more apt to play a perimeter game.... just saying this because we need down low players to post up and seek rebounds.... .

With Bashaara and Nia Moore gone, the lack of depth in the post is scary. And if the LVs don't fix their outside shooting, teams will follow Cuse's game plan-- take away Russell inside, forcing the LVs to try and shoot from the perimeter. I hope the girls spend the summer in the gym, because they have a lot to work on if next year is to be any better. And I'm not convinced the team chemistry is fixed. Watch any of the F4 teams and you'll see more fire, intensity and commitment than the LVs showed this year.

She would have been a coup, even before the McD's AA game. Except she's a West Coast girl considering Cal, Oregon and Oregon State and hasn't mentioned or visited UT. Anything is possible, but Stanford seems a more likely sleeper than the LVs.

I wished we would get a couple European girls. They tend to be more thinkers than just athletes. And we need high IQ players to mix in.

Stanford has pg Anna Wilson but she hurt her knee before the game and did not play. I will be at the 2016 Jordan Brand Classic in NYC i hear 2016 pg Tyasha Harris 5-11 might be playing in that game.

Yeah, Stanford has 3 McD's AAs coming in-- they have a solid class. Not sure why Ionescu isn't considering UCLA-- or maybe she is.

UCLA ? i`m with you they are loaded with sg`s. We need a post player but there are no post players out there that are ready to play right now. We may end up Signing 1 post player but still need a lot of help at the pg spot. With the limited roster for this year look for 6-2 DeShields to play more on the wing. So that leaves Jordan,Cooper,Carter, Middleton, Jackson and if you ask me none of these players shoot the ball very well or quick enough to break down any defender off the dribble. I know some will say Cooper but no if you look her style of play it`s more like dribble dribble and spin not going forward. just my opinion

Yes, it's her twin. He wasn't highly recruited and is going to Oregon. Ducks fans do seem optimistic that she will stay with her brother, but that might not be the best choice for her... which is probably why she is still undecided when he announced months ago.

IS it fixable after THIS disastrous season?

it sure is,they finally started playing like we thought they would of all season long

and then 3 injuries in the Sweet 16 and they didn't play worth a crap in the Elite 8

like others have said,practice,practice,practice

hit the S&C part hard as hell too,i'd like to see Russell add 10 to 15 pounds of muscle,it looked like the light has switched on for her, when she was getting shoved around and started fighting back

and work on ball control, stop all the dumb ass turnovers, play under control, that is directed at you Cooper :) and be able to make the easy wide open shots

and as CPS would say, work on rebounding and defense :)

Interesting so many talk about the injuries going into the E8 game. Out of curiosity I went back to compare the stats from when the LV's played Cuse in Nov. On looking I saw Carters stat line almost identical. Graves was down 5 points and 5 rebounds from the game in Nov. Some of the more interesting tho were Nared, DD, and Russell. Nared did not play in Nov and had 14 pts in E8. DD did not score in Nov and finished with 20 in E8. Russell involvement was cut in half from the Nov. game. Some of you posters take a look and see what you can draw.

Anybody know the name of the point guard we are recruiting from Turkey? I suspect she can shoot the three as most Europe players can. If she has other skills would be a huge asset to next years team.

Not sure who that is but Tyasha Harris who SCOUTS GRADE is 97 is still out there. Not sure why Holly and staff are not making a hard push for her? It could be that Holly is sold on Cooper which is a mistake only my opinion. Note after Cooper we have no pg.
