Had to get these thoughts off my chest real fast. If it's been said a million times already - fine - delete the post.
*To the people saying, "Nobody wants to coach at UT now."
You're basically saying, "Nobody wants to come make 7 million dollars a year to coach football."
I think a whole helluva lot of excellent coaches would be more than glad to endure a lot worse situation than coaching football at Tennessee for 7 million dollars a year.
And, yeh, they better be offering at least that much to top tier coaches. I say they ought to offer Petersen 10 million.
*What motive would Mike McQueary have, under oath, for falsely naming Schiano as a witness to molestations?
I can't figure out what his benefit would have been. I've not heard any good answers to this but I'm glad to hear you out.
*I read some good quotes earlier today that need to be heard by all the people who are telling us we don't deserve a better coach than Schiano.
When mediocrity becomes the accepted norm, excellence dies a painful death. Rashida Rowe
And, Mediocrity is excellent to the eyes of mediocre people. Jospeh Joubert
I don't even know who Rash and Jo Jou are but - spot on.
