Kitchens is intriguing to me. He's been an NFL asst. since 2006. He was only promoted to OC a couple of weeks ago after Todd Haley was let go with HC Hue Jackson.

Since then the Browns are (2-1) including two in a row and have put up 21, 28 & 35 points in the last three games.

IMO, he is making the case to be an NFL OC.

It be could also just be the players playing a bit harder/better. Probably was a toxic environment last few weeks until the Browns cleaned house. Kitchens might be good but I think Tee would be better at recruiting.

I do have a question for everyone... we seem to have made some decisions as to what type of offense we want to run and what type of backs and we we want. Under center some, play action and more of a pro look... what makes anyone think Freeze, Kingsbury or those mostly spread options would work with our new looking recruits?

I just spoke with a buddy over there and CJP is not going away from how the offense is already set up. He said no Kingsbury. I didn't even ask about freeze, I didn't want him to laugh at me.

Cutt would be SWEET. Jim Bob would be great. Hey--I wasn't jumping out of my chair for when we hired Helton. I'm not into making the sexy hire at this point. If we were top tier than maybe but at this point any hot coach coming to TN is just using it as a ladder...and that's not cool to me. Internal hire is looking the likely option.

He would be an incredible hire but he's fixing to get a bunch of NFL offers, including the Browns keeping him I think. He may come but I can't see it.
