Made the trip from Dayton, Ohio for the game and just arrived back home an hour ago.

1). It was hot as blue blazes in Neyland today. Have no idea what the on field temp was but it had to effect both teams adversely. Heck while tailgating at 8am it was ungodly hot.

2). The offense came out looking fly. They continued to look that way until mistakes, penalties, and game delays for the SEC network sucked out all momentum. This team does not handle the tv timeouts well. BTW, why do the refs keep our boys from playing fast? Watching other games the boys get to the line and go. The refs stood over center today most of the time. The delays were excruciating!

3). The injuries were devastating.

4). The demeanor of our team leaves a lot to be desired. A high school football coach seated behind us in the oven up in AA mentioned time and again how our boys were "riding" their talent as if they didn't have to try very hard.

5). Pride of the Southland Band was off the charts great today. Love the entrance into the stadium from the bridge.

6). Getting to the upper areas of Neyland is incredibly difficult!

7). Gameday at Neyland is always awesome nonetheless.

8). Ohio U could've won that game and that makes our boys not ready for prime time IMO. NOT QUITE TOP 25 material.

9). Like many of you, to me the play calling is abysmal, on both sides of the ball.

10). Next week's game could be ugly. Let's hope not.

The refs hold up our up-tempo offense because we substitute players. If the offense sends in subs, the refs give the defense the same opportunity.

Speaking of #4 there has been many interviews where the players think they were doing great or they comment on some part of the team and im like ...wow yall are brainwashed

Had a blast. Went to the game with our daughter(an OU GRAD) and son in law. I was at UT 81-84. Also, many disappointed Vols fans mentioned how angry Saban or Urban Meyer would be with that effort today - in comparison to Butch's apparent acceptance of the situation.

It's also worth mentioning that there is a bbq restaurant at the La Follette exit off I75 in Cove Lake park that is off the charts good, along with a local bluegrass band primarily comprised of seniors that was incredible!

I have and will defend this team for being undefeated but today looked like everybody was in practice mode. I still feel confident in this team against UF but is a little shocking they were that flat today.
