The difference is that Saban had dominate O and D lines his second year. Next year isn't looking so good for us there unless freshman and juco players come in and really step up. CLK is recruiting the sh*t out of the skill positions, but that won't matter if we don't have anyone to block for them or throw to them.

box score lists him as a freshman. Not sure that they'd clarify if he was a true freshman or redshirt but it just says freshman.

he's a redshirt freshman. this is only his second football game since his junior year of high school. he got hurt at the end of his junior year. then got hurt in the first game of his senior year and missed the whole year. but UCLA and a few other schools still offered. and he was listed 5th string his first year. so it's amazing he's starting. 2 graduated. craft was a disaster last year and there was no way that they'd let touch a ball this year. so prince only had to pass up 2 players

Some crappy team just like last week. Last week it was Virginia Tech or something like that. I don't know, supposedly their defense is alright or something.

Let's be honest. McElroy might be solid, but his work so far has been against subpar teams. That VT defense was mediocre, at best and HR looked awful until they were worn completely out and the run game began to dominate. Yesterday was roughly WKU South.
