Oblivion

Seriously, it was all I did yesterday. In my defense, I was fighting a nasty hang over though

Don't worry, guys. What you're playing is called an actual "video game." Not some mind-numbing experience where they put new skins on the same old shooter, make the game 8 hours long and cop out with online play masquerading as replay value. Enjoy.

I made a very ill conceived decision to let my girlfriend create a character.... I've created a monster!

Uh, no. If you have a computer that can handle it, the PC version is way better.

I was wondering about that. I've been interested in playing Oblivion since I first saw a clip of it a few months ago. Didn't know if it would be better on PC, 360, or PS3. I've heard the PS3 version is better than 360.

And what do you know, I just got a new computer. One I think can handle Oblivion fine. :p

Oblivion is pretty complex. It would definitely be easier to play on a PC.

Should be okay. Oblivion is not that new of a game. I would like playing it on the PC better for two reasons; it really pushes the 360's computing capabilities to the limit. The PS3 definitley runs it better, but the hotkeys and ease of use with a keyboard is what pushes the PC version firmly ahead of the console versions. It's just easier to play that way, because there's so many things to do at once during a fight.

I just traded in GTA IV so I could get this again.

....on another note. What a coincidence in the date.

Oblivion is a sweet game. I was addicted to it last summer when I was jobless, not in school, and injured. I want to try Fallout 3 but it's still expensive plus the GOTY edition is coming out soon.
