Pulling for Bama. Not because Pruitt, but bc Georgia is SEC East. Them building success and a NC would give them a lot more credit on the recruiting trail and confidence for the future. I hope Alabama beats the piss out of Georgia for that reason.

Ugh. They finished the 1980 season 11-0 and then defeated Notre Dame 17-10 in the Sugar Bowl and were voted #1 in both AP and UPI.

Explain the logic behind your statement.

I have a financial interest at UGA+4.5. That is my only relevant reason for cheering for either side. 2-0 Bama win is fine by me.

You are exactly right. I don't know what is worse, that I've been taunting the couple obnoxious uga fans I know with my misinformation or that none of them know enough about "their" team's history to correct me. I have no idea why I thought uga lost that bowl game to Arkansas.

At kickoff both teams are served by FBI like the college basketball scandal. Every player current and signee for both teams are ineligible for taking money from Saban and Smarts hands directly. While this is a hope and unlikely. We actually know this is what should happen and UCF be crowned Champions after those people dragged off to jail and players eligibility lost.

I just canĀ’t believe so many of you are pulling for Bama because of a ridiculous notion that it somehow benefits Tennessee because of Pruitt or recruiting for UGA. As a proud and loyal Tennessee fan, I will never root for Bama under any circumstances. That school can burn down for all I care.

Cheering for Pruitt to shutdown GA's offense basically. Also, maybe it will help us on recruiting. Maybe get us close to the top 10? We're already ranked 16th (247)/14th (Rivals) for recruiting.

I don't think anyone will be cheering for Bama. Alot of us are numb to Bama winning another one. In fact Saban tying the Bear might get him closer to retirement. Most of us while hating Bama understand if Kirby Smart in year 2 wins a NC with Richts players and with a crazy recruiting pitch in the same division as us. That will be a long deep hole to climb out for us to ever winning the East. Me "hoping" which is different than "cheering" for Bama to win is more about our future in the east. And it doesn't hurt when we can say our NC was 18 years more recent than UGAs.

My only confort is the sad fans of the losing team.

1 team will win and 1 team will lose.

I'm hoping for a very traumatic loss for 2 fan bases.

Some sort of a bogus ending where the winning team knows they won on a bunk call, so they can't really brag while the losing team has a legit gripe about how the game was erroneously given to the other. Something along the lines of the 5th down.

They are already recruiting at a high level and winning or losing wonĀ’t affect that one bit. I donĀ’t think a blue chip that has UGA as their number one today is going to reverse course if they get blown out.

I hope for a very Defensive game. I don't care if the score is 75 to 75 as long as it is the defenses scoring for both teams! I voted for the meteor option.

All fan bases have idiots. You don't need to look any farther than us.

BUT

I have had more run-ins with the pups than any other fan base, and no, I do not live in GA. Right here in sunny Knox. I would rather lose to UF 5 times than ga once.

Gumps are gonna gump, but ga acts like new money on steroids.

Oh, and I voted "asteroid" in the poll.

I saw where the commies want people to wave white towels in protest of Trump (surrender flags?). It occurred to me that the colors of communist rebels are red and black, the exact colors of UGA. As much as I hate the Gumps, I hope they beat the crap out of those commie-loving SOBs!

I wish it had been worded "I wish a team not named Alabama would score fewer points" since it's the defense we're interested in.
