so for now, whatever he says and does are just about getting elected. After elected, he's going to become this new breed of politician.
I see.
but you said he's going to get someone who appeals to people that he doesn't.I could see your point if he were looking at Rush Limbaugh as a running mate. Why can't it be someone that he both likes and can still give him an appeal to voters he doesn't appeal to. If he is down to two people that he really likes and one can give him an edge with voters he doesn't appeal to should he be like.."gee, you know i better go with the other person, that would be real change, I can't decide between these people without flipping a coin but if I pick the one that gives me a better shot at the White House than I'm just a business as usual politician"
So...it sounds like it is Biden. I always thought that he came across very well in the democratic primary debates. It was obvious that he wasn't going to be a presidential nominee....but something about the way he presented his arguments always seemed better than most of the others.

but you said he's going to get someone who appeals to people that he doesn't.
that says to me he's going to get someone who views the world differently and that's not the work of someone who firmly believes in his agenda or indicates that the agenda is secondary.
you wanna tell me Biden the smug plagiarizing career politician is new politics?

delusion everywhere. Thinking about it, the shoe probably fits.I have a feeling you don't think Biden is anymore smug than I think either McCain or Romney are. If lifting a speech in 1988 is the worse thing a 6 term senator has done than yeah I would say he is change from the norm.
What are you talking about? Nothing says "I'm an agent of change" like picking someone who has been in the Senate since shortly after the Civil War as your running mate.I can see why Obama chose Biden since he's everything that Obama is not. But at the same time I think Obama just forfeited his entire "outsider vs. the establishment" thing.
