The Dems know Obamacare is a doody bomb slowly cooking off. I'm waiting on Hillary to pull a Ted Cruz so she don't get none on her.

At least he's doing it for unselfish reasons...

The cancellations would have created a firestorm for Democratic candidates in the last, crucial weeks before Election Day.

Poor ole Obama dont stand a chance on VN. There has been hundreds of posts wanting Obamacare to be repealed or delayed with praise for those trying to repeal or delay. Obama has listened to your thoughts and is making yet another delay to appease you and what happens, he gets ridiculed for doing exactly what the majority of vn politics forum posters has been asking for. This post is sarcasm for those who's meter may not be working properly.

We never wanted it, we want it fully repealed, and we should have listened to Cruz

Go back and look through the threads, there was support for delays. It will not be fully repealed. Many in the GOP are calling for it to be "fixed". That is the smart move to make.
The GOP listened to Cruz for a short time and it backfired on them. Cruz is one of the members that does make the GOP look like the stupid party. Many of his colleagues have wisely turned their backs on Cruz.

they're under the assumption it can be fixed. For it to be workable they would need to transform it into something unrecognizable from the current ACA. What's the point in that besides politicians being able to claim that they're trying so people continue to vote for them?

when the key provisions on a huge piece of legislation need to all be delayed it's a pretty good indicator. This was a loser from the start

It is true there were some calling for it to be delayed or fixed. I discussed it at the time with many of them.

But for those who had similar reasoning as me - and there were many - we knew full well that Boner and boys had no "grand strategy" to do anything about it. They said as much on several occasions.

You don't fix a totaled car, you scrap it. Obamacare is a complete loss and it's time to move on.

Right now Cruz is looking like a genius, I bet if you could get a private answer out of the Dems running for reelection they would say Cruz was right.

What do you think a car with a rebuilt tittle is?

Many of Cruz's GOP colleagues have basically pushed him to the side. Look at the TXT elections yesterday. Cruz's wing did not fare very well.

Of course he was, all one needs to do is look at all the dems wanting no part of obumba on the campaign trail. Comedy of errors is an understatement concerning this presidency.

There is a huge difference in changing or delaying it by using the proper channels of going through Congress to get it fixed and what is going on now with the obvious political play in an election year. And the President doesn't just get to change the laws he wants to, especially those that are passed by Congress.

I'm all for the delays as I think people know already how damaging it will be. But this is improper and you know it.

I have a friend in the medical field, we went to school together and I was talking with him a few weeks back

He said that the hospital where he works, that there are two billing tiers, Tier 1 and Tier 3

Tier 1 is for anyone with Obamacare. They get a reduced cost to them

Tier 3 is for people with insurance other than Obamacare. They get charged a higher rate than normal to make up for the reduced costs of Obamacare

So essentially, the working taxpayer is paying double for Obamacare

But its free!!! Stupid Socialists

It didn't cause any long-term pain that I can tell. It did cause the Republican party more pain than anything else that I know of. It killed Cruz 2016 chances, which is a good thing, at a time he was gaining power in the party. It made things inconvenient for a few days for some.
