Those people should be transient (pardon the irony). They should work at McDs until they get some education that will allow them to get a better job. If not... well, somebody has to be on the bottom. I just wish they wouldn't procreate to further burden society.
We've already established that for many people this is the best job they can hold down.
Why can't they afford them? Because they dropped out of junior high school and can't get anything but slinging fries at McD's? And they chose to have 4 or 5 kids? I'm paying for their housing, their kids' education (if THEY are bright enough to continue to go to school), their health care, their cigarettes and booze...
So why is that MY problem? I work hard for my money. Why is it so much to ask to let me keep more of it?
Then they need to be responsible and not have children, not smoke weed, not spend all their money on beer... cable TV... rims for their Escalade, etc etc etc. Success in life is not guaranteed, but you make your own breaks and dig your own holes to fall in too. Some people in life are just dealt a ****ty hand, and that's too bad. But it is not my responsibility to have the .gov steal money from me to support those people. Sorry, but life is just not fair. I want to buy a Hawai'ian island, but my name is not Larry Ellison. Maybe he should be forced to buy one for me.

Interesting, sounds like taxes really keep our companies from hiring and raising wages. Point GOP.
Another wealth income disparity article by a liberal blowhard, disband all corporations immediately and put the employees on welfare and snap benefits..

I got through the first three paragraphs. Another socialist manifesto. Everyone that works at any company that is talked about benefits from tax breaks.
I think it just points out the fact that taxes are not preventing these companies from doing anything. It's an excuse that does have merit but shouldn't be the end all be all answer to every problem our country has.
Also I don't see how pointing out the practice of paying CEOs 400x their workers is always considered "class envy."
There's a reason why the President is paid more than a Representative and why a General is paid more than a corporal. Once you reach a certain point in the organizational hierarchy, your skillset is specialized to the point where there are very few who can do your job.
Leadership should earn more.
Yet an oil tycoon just recently said that while he was getting paid millions as a CEO he really wasn't doing that much. That's obviously not the standard, but really I have no problem with someone getting 400x their average worker. Just don't f'in complain about having to pay taxes and trying to make that the reason for all of our countrys job growth problems.
The captain of a ship doesn't "do much" either, but when a problem arises, everybody looks to him to solve the problem.
Since we're kvetching about taxes, how about the left stops *****ing and moaning every time a corporation uses legal means to reduce it's tax burden.
How about this, how about both of them do their jobs and do away with the whole damn thing.
How many people do you employ? If your company can save a few million a year by moving to India, Mexico, or China why would you stay in the US? You sound butthurt that you're not a CEO. All about that wealth distribution huh lib?
