Oakley Sunglasses

Agreed. That's why I usually wear a three piece suit instead of t-shirt, shorts, and Nikes. I've never understood the appeal of "sport clothes" for general purpose wear.

Because they are more comfortable. I'm not going going out to impress people, I'm going out to do whatever I set out to do and I like to be comfortable doing it. Certainly there are times when dressing up is called for but, for everyday wear...I'm going comfort all day long.

I find Oakley athletic style frames to be,more comfortable. That was kind of the point.

as far as comfort, you will not find any more comfortable than these...

too bad they don't make them anymore.

I also have a pair of MJ wraps with a white frame and orange/mirrored lenses. I needed a prescription pair for boating/driving, and they fit the bill. Mine are more substantial than the minimalistic style of most MJs. Only complaint is that they are a bit heavy, but that is due to the prescription lenses.

anyone looking for Maui Jim's

Sam's now has them...They have 4-5 models both Black and Tortoise frames and they are all $139

My Oakleys....love'em.

I went through their custom shop. Got a pair of the Radar Range with a carbon fiber frame print and their high contrast VR28 black Iridium Polarized lens. Which with the way its polished has a black\brownish tint. A certain orange color oakley badge (s) at the temples and laser etched lens that say Go Vols! Totally eliminates glare, sharpens focus and lets you see depth by eliminating color bleed and color fade. From my point of view they actually improve your vision.

Very technical

I've considered Lasik just so I can afford more sunglasses. I have a problem.

I like my Wiley polarized sunglasses. Got them free so I'm not sure of model. I found some Maui Jims when I was deployed last year. Great glasses for flight line work. Not sure of that model either, just throwin that out there.

Both brands are very good imo. When I played ball I used Oakley. They were stolen before season ended, went to the "cheapies" after that. I also have Wiley transition goggles I use when riding.

I found some polarized Spy shades on a discount website while my wife was web-shopping. $40 for a $120 pair of glasses. Love them for boating/driving. Have been happy with similar Oakleys (Gascan) and Smiths in the past.

Everybody I know gives me crap for spending $$$ on oakleys instead of buying a $5 pair from Walmart. Gets annoying

If your in Nashville, Oakley has an outlet store at Opry Mills where you can buy from the Oakley vault...I haven't yet because my Oakleys don't yet need replacing but the deals there are unbeatable
