I don't think anyone was shocked by this. Oakland has been through so many head coaches since firing Gruden it's ridiculous. Oakland is a poorly run organization. They have made a lot of bad personnel decisions, especially at the QB position that has really hurt them. They seem to be stuck in a bad cylcle of ineptitude.

Damn do the raiders suck in more ways than one. They are the America's funniest home videos of the nfl.

It's so damn blunt and disrespectful to not go to his damn house then talk to him with the news he's fired.

This was the same as a breakup is going to happen but the person decides let's use a disrespectful blunt method of calling them over the phone to tell them it's over instead of telling them in person as that would involve a confrontation.

Donald trump needs to educate the raiders on the proper way To fire someone and yes I'm serious with those words.

Or they're simply stuck in Davy Jones locker or will continue to be a putrid laughingstock as long as the Davis family runs the damn raiders.
Los angles kiss should replace the damn raiders.

Both Allen and McKenzie need/needed time. Al Davis completely destroyed that roster. And then some with future draft picks. It was practically an expansion team with no draft picks when they took over.

Oakland did not fire gruden. They traded him to Tampa

Ive said that also and completly agree.

It is damn stupid to fire a head coach that leads you to a 8-8 season how the hell does that indicate wrong direction or the wrong guy.
For some damn reason one freakin season is a great evaluator of a coach with the damn raiders or should I say the son of al davis.


Fox has the philosophy if a tv show isnt a home run in the 1st season with the its a failure, and wont produce major ratings. Friends wasnt a powerhouse in the 1st season, 24 the original one barely survived seasin with a late great season 1 comeback and became a powerhouse.
So yeah the raiders are not much different than Fox with their one season is a great way to evaluate a tv show in terms of using the same thing with their head coaches.

To here was sarcasm on the jason smith radio show i know who got Allen fired its Belecheck thats why he moved off the field fast.

Raiders are a team that need the nfl extreme makeover.


Donald trump could do a superior job running the raiders.
The raiders are so putrid the Los Angeles kiss are currently a superior football team and I wouldn't doubt the kiss would beat the raiders.

Even so I would bet 50 bucks that Donald trump will remain a superior mogul than the son of Al Davis.
As long as the Davis family owns the raiders they'll remain a joke the America's funniest home videos of the nfl.


Or Pat Riley.

Still he knows the proper way of how to freakin fire a employee, and the damn raiders need educated in that.

Mark Davis is proving he's down to the job as owner. But he doesn't have dementia or insanity to blame his crap on like Mr. Davis did. Allen should've never been hired. Hue Jackson should not have been fired. Reggie McK put together a great draft by Raiders standards this year but some of his other moves like acquiring the door Matts, Flynn and Schaub, have been very iffy.

Golden Gate Sports is reporting Tony Sparano is on-deck as interim head coach. And that should go spectacularly well...

Yes I'm sure the raiders shall forever regret freakin firing hue Jackson.
That was a 20 star abysmal dumb move, yes that decision is so awful it earns 10 extra stars for it's abysmalness.


More chia pets get sold than the raiders win football games, heck the Oakland athletics may win more playoff games than the raiders win of football games this season.

I guess I just have a lot of thoughts, and really hate how the raiders continue to make horrid decisions.
This includes the manner in which they fired Allen.

Maybe it's the writer in me. My career aspiration is to be a super hero comic book writer.
In better news this was a smooth interaction.

Shell, Kiffin, Cable, Jackson, and now Allen. The revolving door of coaches continues.

Jackson was the best of that group and should have never been fired. Tom Cable wasn't even that bad either.

Fair enough, just an observation. How old are you, if you dont mine me asking? Helps me understand people sometimes when I know how old they are.

every time I get frustrated with the Titans organization all I have to do is google "Oakland Raiders" and I realize there are worse
