O-linemen "considering future"

No scared. Based on what I've seen on the field I would simply run right past them to get away.

What have you seen from those two again? Brett started what, 3 games? Dylan started none from what I remember. How many sacks could you attribute to either one?

Really? So, you are saying that Dobbs wasn't a better QB (all things considered) than Worley? And of course, Dobbs played because he was better. Oh wait, no, he played because Worley had a season ending injury. Great job coach Jones!

There are all kinds of political BS going on as it relates to PT. You have no idea. I was personal friends with Woody McCorvey when he was here. Great guy, but he couldn't stand Riggs Jr. Told me so, personally. Also told me he was the most talented back on the roster. But it was Woody's opinion on Riggs (head case according to his own words), not his ability, that determined playing time. Woody went to MSU and Trooper Taylor came in. He liked Riggs and tried a different approach, and all of the sudden he was a 1000 yard back.

i have no doubt that Brett could have some attitude or personality conflicts. That doesn't mean he isn't the best at his position. Coaches are paid to get past this kind of crap.

Does your supervisor, manager or owner always do the best thing for their own business? Hell no. I used to have some issues with my boss, even though, according to his boss, i was the best in the company at my position. My financial success is tied to how well we work together. For years my production was thwarted because i had to fight against management to get what i wanted and needed. About 5 years ago, my relationship with my boss changed, and suddenly my production skyrockets. The result is I'm making him more money. But, that didn't matter back then. It was politics and who he WANTED to see succeed. The sad part is you couldn't convince him of this to this day.

Jobs are won during practices. . .frankly last year Dobb was #3 during practice. Go back and read all the practice updates at NO TIME did he challenge for the starting job. Deal with it.

If the true freshman comes in and takes your spot, he's just better than you. Only thing you can do is suck it up and try to get better.....try to earn your spot back. Or walk away, like a puss.

Wow. Complex or something? Truth is if Worley had any O-line at all, Dobbs would have never seen the field. Worley did fairly well for what he had. Dobbs fits the offense better and it shows. I'm a Dobbs fan, but he also didn't face the meat of the schedule.

As for your boss, he must not be a good one. I am the boss. I have guys I don't care for, but I want them all to succeed. Because if they do, so do I. If you think Butch would sacrifice Dobbs health because he wants to pick on a big ole lineman, I think you are way off base.

Again, IF TRUE, and they are contemplating leaving because a couple of freshmen are taking their reps, they are soft, as in mentally soft and lack heart. Gilliam sure didn't walk away.

Gilliam also didn't insult college kids on the internet talking about something he knew nothing about.

T.O. was one of the most gifted WR's in the NFL but everyone got tired of his poor attitude. Be a jacka$$ and you will ride the pine. Either work for it or line up for you participation trophy.

The article is about Wiesman and Kendrick.Trying to start some s..t to get into young men's mjnds and to muck up team cohesion.Usually a good site;but, this time trolling for an angle. Like a reporter asking a polition,"when did you stop beating your wife?"

When does Butch give out the participation trophies? You have to EARN a position. It is not a birthright.

Sure, go back and read Jancek's comments about being unable to defend him during practice. Otherwise all you had was homer media speculation trying to justify why Dobbs was being redshirted. Deal with it.

Both Kendrick and Weismann were part of Jones oatrecruiting class when he was scrambling to get bodies.. Weisman was a late commitment .. Remember jaylan Miller and Malik Brown on the DL left last year.. Same deal
Kendrick was committed long before Jones got here and had to be talked out if other D1 visits when CBJ was hired. UT beat out Urban Meyer for Weisman. Which team would you rather be a backup on, gator bowl champs or National champs?
Not good comparisons. Miller and Brown really had no better options.

I'll ask. What exactly have coaches told your brother about the line battle?

Good job at tying yourself into a discussion on the offensive line. Your production at the office has nothing to do with who is playing on the offensive line. Don't be angry it's bad for your health.

For all we know Thomas may look completely different at rt. Let's wait until we see some game action before we start claiming this guy should be starting over that guy and so on. Not to mention jack Jones is our most talented guard right up there with robertson.

Jones is juggling the recruiting game along with the actual game. I could see where a guy like Pinkel might play a vet with similar talent to a freshman and Butch and many others would play the freshman.

I tied it to my personal experience with a former coach. Do you have nothing better to do than ignore the content and facts and launch ad-hominems?

Leadership, human nature, and human weakness are transcendent things. Even the greatest of leaders have blind spots. There's some reason to believe that Kendrick lives in Jones' blind spot... as does possibly Thomas but Jones favors him and disfavors Kendrick.

Had Dobbs won the job then he would have been the starter. Worley won the job and so even though Dobbs was likely the second best QB... they hoped to RS him. Once Worley was lost for the season, it took no time for Dobbs to take over.

All we have about how the season might have ended with a healthy Worley is speculation. There are too many variables to ever say but I personally believe they still would have made a bowl.

If his method of evaluation didn't show that Dobbs was the best option at QB last year then there was something wrong with his method, not with Dobbs
