The OL came to play, but UK was still feeling the effects from UGA and UT made them pay! Kudo's to the OC's game plan and to the OL for playing above their talent level. Let's hope it carries on through the rest of the season. The offense even with it's stalls and turn overs played and schemed a brilliant game plan tonight. How about just enjoying the win and leave the critiques to the sports writers who know more football (not really) to decide how in the world we won this game......(rolls eyes)

This same starting 5 did well against USCjr, so they may have finally found a combination that works.

These guys on the OL know results have been less than great, so maybe the lights came on. No "magic dust" (remember that one?), but young men & their coaches tired of hearing about how terrible things are in the trenches. Proud of those BIG guys wearing the ORANGE!

What the heck did i just watch today? That looked like a legitimate SEC offensive line. Not to look a gift horse in the mouth, but where was that sort of effort in the first nine games?

For nearly the the first time all year, our blockers were getting to the 2nd and 3rd levels to block guys. That was the difference. Their was one play where dom wood Anderson chip blocked a guy and knocked him clean on his ass, then had time to look around and find another guy upfield to block into the ground again. Chandler ended up with a 20 yard run so it worked out perfectly. I saw that and I about lost it cause that’s what we’ve been waiting to see. I thought Calbert helped us a lot today too by starting on the o-line.

Sometimes chemistry of an online just comes together. Then again, if memory serves someone posted that old coach Fulmer had been working with the o linemen. Either way I’ll take it, well done Volunteer offensive linemen!

could the line be more @ ease in a sense not playing with Smith, just a pack of jimmy’s and joes beginning to mesh?
