If your o line simply cannot move anyone, at any quality level, out of the way, who are you going to run on anyone?
If your o line simply cannot block anyone and your TE, or backs cannot/will not pick up the rush, who are you supposed to throw against?
I have a lot of respect for our QB's. They are some tough SOB's to hang in there and take those hits. This o line is not just bad, ITS DANGEROUSLY BAD. People are going to get career ending injuries because of their bad play. I think it's time to bench some guys. It's easier to give birth that raise the dead. We've got guys who simply aren't serviceable. They have bad habits and aren't going to put out the effort to get better. Some are just mentally shot and don't believe they can do it. I've just seen too many inferior teams show up with inferior talent and inferior coaching and STILL perform better than what I am seeing.

It feels like sometimes Pruitt & coaches are trying to implement their power running system while also trying to balance the offense with the players Butch left over. I know theyre bad, but Butch recruited essentially Big East sized O-Lines sans Trey Smith and we're paying for it. I fear it will legit take 4 years to even compete with the Georgias and Bamas.

It is not just the O line, watch the film, it is the TE as well as the running backs not having a clue of who to block and adjusting to the defense. These are mental errors and lack of knowledge of the game, nothing to do with physical ability. Same thing is happening on defense, DB are out of position missing assignments, tons of missed tackles, and yet there are some very good series when everyone executed and played as a team. Make no mistake there are certainly a few that are loafing, simply don't have the killer instinct, and would rather lean on the pile than crush someone.

I just don't believe that we have the number of quality personnel to allow for a pro set offensive, with drop back passing that requires pocket protection from a good O line etc. We need a scrambling quarterback that can relieve the pressure on the O line and buy the time needed to get the receivers open. JG just can't do it and he is going to get killed attempting to stay in the so called pocket. Keller is a little better on moving laterally and we will see what he can do. Just remember what Dobbs could do and our line was probably not a lot better than this one but the defense could not just blitz him, he could take off on a dime.

As bad as this team is overall, we need an absolute super star quarterback to carry the rest of the team, and maybe Stout or Maurer will be the answer.
