'20 NV TE Darnell Washington (UGA commit)

Nothing from insiders.....radio silence all around. Everything is just guessing. Hubbs has rarely been wrong before so most arr riding with him. Hes been wrong before so, I am riding with CJP and Nieds.

Hubbs wasn't convinced on Gruden, but he did go to the airport. (Of course, nobody knew what would happen there)

My take: People are impatient. DW isn't the 1st (or last) to announce at one of these games. He's not done a single thing wrong. AV shouldn't say if he knows and honestly, Hubbs shouldn't have given a clue either.
Crazy to think that we, the adults, can't wait a few days.

1 thing that should've changed if DW didn't pick Ga:
We should have seen Kirby suddenly pressing for other TE's. He has not, that I'm aware of.

But he took his Vacation in Knoxville and was at the Marietta game. He has to be a Vol.

Why should Kirby push for TEs? They have two freshmen on the squad now, just like UT. Both of those freshmen TE were 4 stars. We have a 4 and 3 star that were redshirted as well. We are all in the same boat. IMO, you cant look at that.

Don't ask me, I don't follow other team's rosters. But it was said here repeatedly that he would look elsewhere and this is the 1st time that *I've seen* that debated.
Maybe i missed it but I was going off what everyone else said until now.
That Kirby wanted another TE in this class.

UGA cant win a real title so those recruiting titles are a must. Recruiting over 4-5* guys is more important to them than evaluating for a position of need.

Kid probably has two signed LOI’s but hasn’t sent anything in just yet. Both teams already know their backup plans and are working all the back channels for DW & their backup plans...

Hubbs is and has been towing the company line since Pruitt has been here and has said everything they want him to say.

If Callahan comes out and says its not happening then you worry a little but so far he has not crossed that line which tells me a lot.

Haha, to me, this all has a similar feel, at least since the signing.
Paid guys saying "not happening" DW saying "I think WE end with the #1 recruiting class".
And nothing suggesting otherwise except VN with "smokescreen" and "he visited TN", just like Gruden.

The 1 major difference, we actually are/were in it with DW.

I know a few donors and they all say the same thing. They don’t hear anything anymore. CJP doesn’t allow leaks apparently

Callahan never says anything definitive even if he knows for a fact one way or another. Which is why when he puts in a crystal ball pick people go nuts, that’s his only way of giving a yes or no, really.

However, he wrote an article on Christmas Eve discussing The Vols “wish list” to close out this class and Washington’s name wasn’t mentioned a single time. It was Hardy, Beckwith, and a couple of wide receiver options. That should tell you a lot as well.
