Well just talked to Abernathy on the phone. He said that they are thinking it’s Georgia because they have housing for kids and we don’t. He said that we have 4 scholarships left. Hoping to flip Hardy. Said they are only wanting transfers that can play immediately.
BUT He said that his mom does not want him to go to Georgia and she won’t sign the paperwork. He also said that DWs sons mom didn’t want him to go to Tennessee because she thought Pruitt would be too hard on him. Said the team is going to Jacksonville on the 28th and that they are flying DW and his whole family down with them. Coach AB also said his mom won’t sign so apparently letter hasn’t been sent. Another interesting note that he mentioned is that he doesn’t think he will play TE in college. Said he will most likely play DE cause he could make bigger money at DE.

Again, all hearsay.

Also, Bruce believes we get Washington AND Hardy. 🤷🏽‍♂️

Sounds pretty thought out and logical... could be something to it.

If true, the baby momma needs to realize this is a business decision and hard coaching is exactly what will help get him to the NFL.

Sounds like she plans to move with him. Makes me feel like there could be some off field issues that are going to make it difficult for DW to reach his full potential. Coaches will try to ground him and push him. He doesn't need someone in his ear contradicting the coaches.

Listen to your mother DW. She raised you and has the life experience to know what's best for you.

Don’t think they could do it within NCAA guidelines but that’s what AV is for...

I’m all for signing Washington but the part about Pruitt being too hard on him is silly.

It’s better to have a coach who’s hard on you and drives you to be the best player you can be. That’s what makes a great football coach, especially in the SEC where it’s big boy football.

Kirby just seems like a guy who’s all for show while Pruitt is all about business. Just my opinion.

Been doing the Christmas shopping thing and checked back in, figured we would be past 10k now. Evidently the roller coaster that has been this thread is not cycling up or down to much today. Now the catching up begins.
