Just to be clear. I said TIFWIW, this is what a friend sent me, it was a headline that UA insiders felt that he signed with UT. People have also assumed that since I know he signed, it Must be UGA. That’s not entirely true. Recall I know a couple coaches at Tn that did coach at UGA. One of them y’all keep trying to fire lol. I’ve said the same stance from the get go from my end while acknowledging kids tell staffs what they want to hear. I’m not going to roast AV as I know this to be 100 true and recruiting can change on a dime. My oldest daughter changed her mind 3x last night, on just where to eat.

You also know I put most importance on the kid (any kid, any school). I pull for many kids on the UT roster, many. Even is true for (gulp, AU and GT). You know I have friends that played for UT. I want UT to succeed and you know I’m a Pruitt guy. With or without Washington (again, you have to go with the info you have, no one is 100 until Jan), this class is another step in the right direction. Pruitt can identify talent like no other I’ve seen.
All I was getting at is that your post was the only "Intel" we had, and it was second hand from a bama guy.. to a UGA guy...

Darnell is not a Vol and is a dirty dawg at UGA...at least we can plan against him since we recruited him and know him. I’m in the next phase after acceptance into Darnell is not that good:

More likely to be confused for a power forward or underweight offensive tackle, 5-star tight end Darnell Washington is an enormous young man.
At 6'7½" and 238 pounds, Washington is a rare athlete. He's been able to play receiver, tight end and on the defensive line in high school.
It's difficult to evaluate him because of how much bigger and stronger he is than his competition. What's clear is how much he struggles to change direction and accelerate upfield, and his 4.8 40-yard dash and 26.8" vertical confirmed those limitations.
He has playmaker potential when he's asked to go in a straight line, but defenses can game-plan around that limitation easier than quicker-than-fast space players.
There isn't a long list of gigantic, long-limbed offensive playmakers in college football. Washington is likely to be limited to being a jump-ball and red-zone specialist than he is to be the next Harold Carmichael.
Barring a transformative impact in college, the 5-star rating looks like an overreaction to his impressive size

Whether Darnell signs with us or not just to be relevant with these types of recruits again is very encouraging. If the football program continues to take the next step think of all the exciting times waiting for us on volnation,by the way, this thread has been pure mayhem!

Have to quit being second if we want to be elite. Butch finished second a lot too...No, I am not comparing this staff to Butch and his staff but these are battles we need to start winning our share of to win the East.

Confused. Sounds like you're trying to say all 3 teams are possible but you're not gonna roast AV - as in you know he's wrong about feeling good for TN?

Ah, secking, why do you have to do this? Letting us down easy. Just pull the bandaid off fast. It'll hurt but the pain will recede quickly.

A lot of times this post-commitment to somewhere else is just sour grapes but this seems pretty accurate. DW probably isn't going to beat a ton of guys on 12 yard corner routes but he's a good target for 50/50 balls when you need a first down or a score. I like HB, KL, OT, and LW (on defense) better than Washington and I could probably talk myself into a few more.

Dude is a Dawg. Has been for months. All of this is orchestrated. There is a reason Evans is "trending" UGA. There is a reason Kelee and Darnell are announcing at the separate all star games. There is a reason Kelee showed up to his schools signing event wearing an Oregon shirt. There is a reason DW wore checkerboards and an orange tint to his hair on a nationally televised game after he signed.
