'20 NV TE Darnell Washington (UGA commit)

So watching Darnell's highlight reel I've come to the conclusion that he is a physical freak. He jumps off the film because he is obviously bigger than everyone. All of his plays just look unfair because the kids trying to match up on him are just athletically outclassed by wide a margin. Even his stuff against Bishop Gorman which is a nationally touted NV school (Tate Martell came from there lulz) was next level and him just imposing his will.

With all that said is anyone concerned with his height at all? The guy looks like an elite power forward running around with midgets on tape. I get the hype because he is legitimately a cheat code at WR or TE but he seems like a guy that a good linebacker or safety could just sweep the leg and watch the big Redwood topple.

Also his blocking skills are pretty good looking on film from a technique and positioning standpoint. It looks like he can do anything but if we get a guy like him does Chaney make him the feature in the pass game? Obviously he would be THE redzone target but otherwise are we just going seam jump ball every play?

Many on here have a hard time dealing with recruiting. They just cannot wrap their head around the fact that recruiting is a fluid process that can change in a split second.

Take Washington. If we don’t get him there will be plenty of people posting garbage like oh another swing and a miss. This staffs recruiting sucks and are overpaid. It’s gonna be stupid on steroids after NSD.

I love this class. I don’t care if we get DW or not. This is a very good class.

The best posts are the ones in the FF who complaing about recruiting. 98% have absolutely no clue how recruiting or rankings work.

Lost a bunch even before signing day too. At first it was supposedly GITs but then they had a few flips on Wednesday so I’m thinking they’ve done something that kids ain’t liking.

They can sign whoever they want..still doesn’t change the fact they are playing for a coach that goes for it on 4th and 10 on his side of the field 🤷🏽‍♂️😂 Kirby’s players are under performing on top of having a horrible offense since chaney left.Kirby has his work cut out for him.
