What he has said is we have a better chance than what has been depicted by the recruiting insiders on those pay boards. I think getting the last visit showed that to be true. I have no doubt AV has legit insider info as he has known several things only one would know and came to fruition. I just think he got overly cocky on this one thinking no way this kid could be playing each side and was only playing everyone else. I get the national media doesn’t know everything but there are way too many people for months saying UGA. At some point there would have been a slip if it was a game and not legitimate interest. There is that 1 or 2 kids each yr that sort of pulls the rug out from underneath staffs/boosters that made them feel like they had them then BAM reality hits. If the kid is smart enough to pull off this master troll plan then I will be happy but I just find it hard to believe the UGA talk/love is or was ever fake.

If he goes to UGA it shouldn’t be oh AV doesn’t know anything. It should be he trusted/believed what he was being told. Kids tell coaches and boosters same things all the time because they don’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings or they like a few staffs and find it hard to tell all but one NO.

I don't think the UGA talk/love was or is fake. He's friends with a couple players there. He's also friends with Lawrence here. He's got Miami friends, Oregon friends, Bama friends, etc. I think there was/is genuine interest in all of his top teams. Of course everyone knows it's between us and UGA at this point. I'm not sure why he's showing GA love right now. Like others have mentioned, if he picked them, he's not doing a good job keeping it a secret. It may well be to throw people off. Either the kid is a genius, or a moron. We'll see.

I believe it’s happened before in recent years but not typically. I think you can sign a financial aid paper with multiple schools allowing them unlimited contact or at least for a while you could. Haven’t seen that as much since the early signing period though maybe thst went away once esp was born

One school got his LOI yesterday. That school and the other 2-3 schools know who got it. Tennessee doesn’t need to take a TE this cycle. They got two last cycle. You just can’t pass up a talent like Darnell. UGA desperately needs a TE. They have nobody after Woerner, especially after missing on Arik and Theo.

The fact that UGA has pursued no other TEs and hasn’t sent out any new offers since yesterday, tells you all you need to know.

Not necessarily. Not like there's an abundance of unsigned quality TEs out there. DW may very well have signed with UGA but still seems like lots of assumptions are being made.

Unless you know his family and friends or HS coaches in Nevada, you are relying on the same recruiting services we all are. Which means you are in the dark as the rest of us. You may guess correct but kill it with the insider routine. It’s played out
