Gosh, one of our own whom some know, Ashley’s dad gets on field access and meets coaches ect and some of y’all come in here talking crap on AV. Again, we know what you don’t and y’all are just miserable people. Probably not just LOM’s but in life.

Not to mention AV was recently on the plane back from a game with the team...... (Because you know, “non-connected” people get that treatment all the time......)

And what have UGA or Bama done with their TE’s exactly?
Bama TE have done well and UGA was only 3 rec behind them last year. UGA has a history of TE’s but think Hartley is selling himself.
"Coach Hartley coached David Njoku, Chris Herndon, and Brevin Jordan, guys who are in the league who will be in the league," Washington said. "So if he did it with them, why can't he do it with me? I trust him with getting me developed.
1st Rd, 4th Rd, 2018 #1 TE (from NV)

DWA has the skill set....the QB play has been horrendous. Too inconsistent. JG throws the ball 5 feet over his head most times. DWA has been wide open a few times and been missed. But the TE's have not been used at either UGA or Bama....hell, Florida is making their TE look like Gronk....If I were a good TE, I would definitely go to FL. Mullen does a good job.
Kyle Pitts is a monster, he’s very good and not a bad comparison for DW.

While one five-star Vols target, linebacker Noah Sewell of Orem, Utah, announced his commitment to Oregon on Friday night, Tennessee remains in the running for another five-star target. Five-star tight end/athlete Darnell Washington of Las Vegas still is considering the Vols, and they have continued to battle for one of his final visits leading up to the early signing period. He returned to Georgia over the weekend on an unofficial visit for the Bulldogs’ game against Texas A&M, and sources close to his recruitment have continued to suggest Georgia might be the team to beat for Washington.
from Callahan. Also of note, this weekend might be his last visit.

Of course they get them drafted. They are all very talented players at that position at both schools. But I wouldn’t say they are overly used at either place though. That’s all I was saying.

Gotcha, we use them, lots of 2 TE sets, now if we could invent the forward pass, ugh...

I never believed DW UGa visits were for show. You don’t visit from Nevada to UGa as many times as he has to play games with people.

I hope I’m wrong, but I don’t see any way he doesn’t go to UGA. Too many visits and too much smoke. Especially with the uncertainty with Theo Johnson now. They will put the full court press on Washington if Theo goes elsewhere.

That had not a damn thing to do with this dude...

Like it or not, the fact that we lost to GA State and started 1-4 definitely hurt us in recruiting. He mentioned he wants to win a national championship. Do you not think teams are using that against us? I'm happy as anybody else that we have strung off some wins in a row and look to finish with 7 wins. But, we are accruing close wins against some very average teams. We are getting closer, but are not ready yet to compete for the upper echelon. I think our recruiting is entirely different if we are 8-3, easing into our 9th win and playing in a NY6 bowl

Ok..

I think the writing is on the wall for some of the staff. Johnson and Sherrer for sure. Wouldn't be surprised to see 1-2 more either.
Maybe we should wait and see how we finish before we start pseudo firing coaches. Johnson landed the WH3 and is in on a few others. Off the top of my head, not sure who Sherrer is on or landed. But let’s be honest here. It’s not like Neids has been killing it on the trail this year and nobody wants him gone. Point is, give it time.

I see Weinke changing and maybe rocker...rest probably safe. Have to remember a good number of these guys are not going anywhere unless Pruitt goes somewhere....
