All insiders are eventually going to be wrong at some point so thus there are truly 0 insiders. Everybody itching to get real-time “info” from these folks and then hold it as gospel are delusional. And I am including myself in that delusional camp as I’ve been there, done that. Things can change at the drop of the hat so sit back and take whatever an “insider” says as just an average poster. Been way more disappointed at the final outcome of what these “insiders” have stated than excitement so really all just a waste of time. JMHO

If you following recruiting closely there are always going to be extreme highs and lows whether you are depending on 'insiders' or getting your info from more 'standard' avenues, such as the national recruiting services or journalists that cover the recruiting process locally. And they get their info from 17-18 year olds and what they hear from inside the program (which comes from those 17-18 year old kids).

The insiders that drop info here like AV are typically getting their info from those same sources - the coaching staff and/or those same 17-18 year old recruits. And a whole bunch of these kids love to play the game, and change their minds on a whim, so that even coaching staffs get fooled. And if coaching staffs can get left standing at the alter, it is no surprise that 'insiders' who get their info from those same sources get fooled as well.

Bottom line is, no matter who your source is for recruiting information - players, coaching staffs, recruiting services, local journalists, insiders - it is guessing game to varying degrees until the LOI is submitted.

I dont think he is necessarily disagreeing with you, but perhaps you aren't seeing that we are closing the gap through recruiting and development . Most people only want to harp on rankings this and that. Wait 2 years and you will know if we have been successful with our class.

Seemed to have a done a pretty good job across the OL/DL and front 7. Still missing a dynamic playmaker at RB and pass rusher also need another top level WR but other than that it was a very good class. But still not an elite class that makes gains on our two biggest rivals.

I think we have filled our needs as well as anyone and have gained on our Eastern division rivals. Georgia has under-achieved on the field in respect to their recent recruiting classes. You are one negative post away from being labeled a loser. Be careful.

Game gets played for a reason. Teams are rarely at 100%, and any given team can win on any given day. I just don't like how you seem to give us zero chance. Sure, UGA has done well, but that doesn't make them unbeatable.
