Nu'Keese Richardson WR '09

I can't see Urban letting this happen if Richardson was actually considering us. To me, a visit not taken is money left on the table. If you can combine that visit with a great basketball experience and maybe a little extra florida recruiting, it's an added bonus. I just don't see this kid having any interest in us.

You can thank our non-stop recruiting efforts for getting people here. I honestly didn't think a close like this was possible.

I agree that our staff is amazing, but I'll believe this kid is interested when he says it himself. (or faxes a LOI)

At first i was a little hesitant about hiring Kiffin but now i think Hamilton couldn't have made a better choice. The guy is a monster recruiter. Not to mention the staff he assembled. To be able to do what he has done with recruiting in a month and a 1/2 after a complete staff overhaul is pretty remarkable.

At least it is pissing Meyer and the gators off. I like Kiffin's style.

Exactly. You have to realize a number of the recruits we have visiting simply won't commit -- and Kiffin knows this. However, what he is doing is laying the groundwork to hit these schools/pipelines in the future. He's also sending a message about how the other schools are going to have to work.

They've proved they can recruit -- if Tennessee resembles anything of a solid offense and defense this fall expect '09 to be impressive and '10 to a top 3 class.

I hope he does show up for the visit. You never know what goes through an 18 yr olds mind these days. He may come p and fall in love with our facilities and the plan that the staff has laid our for him and how he'll be used. You have to give Kiffin credit though. He definitely won't back down from a fight. I bet he told CUM in that inhouse visit, " I've kicked bigger MOFO's azzes just to get to a fight!!!!" And Nu'Keese is coming with me!! :the_finger:

Richardson has told Hubbs he isn't sure if he is visiting this weekend or not. Just updated by Hubbs.

I won't be too broken up if a 151 lb gator commit doesn't visit. I'm cool with messaging that we'll take anyone on, anywhere, anytime... but I'd stay away from this one.

Let's not. Hubbs is checking it now. But he believes he is indeed coming. Family as well. This started on Rivals main board but looks legit from the comments from Hubbs.

I have to think the kid has some real interest after an in home visit from Meyer then still coming if he is for sure here. I didn't see where Hubbs said he was here yet.

Wow, I wish I could see the look on Urban's face when he finds out. People in Gainesville are scratching their heads about all the misinformation surrounding this guy.

The word out of Florida was that the family already had plane tickets and saw no reason not to use them.

It would be easy to say he's here to dissuade recruits or come up for a free basketball game, but why bring the family?

I couldn't imagine a bet I'd take where I picked Richardson signing with the Vols, though. I'd be happy to lose it, though.

Yea, He seems like a long shot. But Kiffin is going after the best kids. I know everyone keeps saying this. But.......... next year is going to be huge if you look at what they are doing in the short time they have already been here.

Yes, He is #9 ranked wideout. Everyone in the SEC has offered this guy along with FSU, Mich., and many other big time schools.
