Nu'Keese Richardson under Dooley

If Nu'Keese had not been dismissed from the team, would he had prospere under Dooley?

If Nu'Keese had managed to avoid the huge lapse of judgement, would he had prospered under Dooley? I think we can all agree that if the infamous Pilot incident had not occurred, and Kiffin had not bolted for USC and remained head coach, that it was just a matter of time before some other incident would of landed him in trouble.

I cite the Janzen Jackson case as proof that Nu'Keese might of been able to show better judgement under Dooley and been an outstanding player for us.

LOL, no. Nuke is a punk, pure and simple. And for the record, I don't think Janzen should have been allowed to stay on the team for his part in the robbery.

That was kind of my point. Dooley might of been what Nu'Keese needed to turn it around. A strong character and disciplinarian running the show.

I Have to agree with you Aavoxx. Leadership was needed for this football program and Kiffin was not what Nukeese or anybody else needed. I often ask what would life be like if Dooley would have been hired first.

i think two things: 1. every one deserves a second chance. So Far JJ has made the most of his.
2. I liked the fact we got Nuke out of FLA when we recruited him, loved his speed and shiftiness but that season i believed Teague was the best WR from that class who was getting snaps on the field. i was hurt a bit when he was moved to DB by Dooley, but then i put my foot in my mouth when i saw the kid could play corner.
So to answer the question, I think Nuke would have been a good player on the field if he stayed out of trouble. But like Dandy Don Meredith once said " If If's and but's were candy and nuts, we all would have a good time"

I'm surprised, even with his character issues, that he didn't land somewhere.

All I can say is if he were still here you could probably erase all of those muffed punts during last season.

Um, the word is that he was actin' a fool quite a few times since his arrest. I'm pretty sure has had multiple chances, and the only reason for that is that he wasn't kicked to the curb is because he is the most talented player on the team.

The only question i have about Nu'keese is for Kiffin. Why in the world after that 40 yard run from the NUKE package on play number 1 against Auburn did you not go back to it at any time. Am I the only one who thought try it on em at least once more.

Two things after watching that video...Those jerseys look so much better than our '10 jerseys, and the all orange uniform look is so sick.
