I'm not gonna lie. At the UCLA game, Nuke scared the hell out of me every time he went back to return one.

the punt as in singular? I am assuming they will punt more than once and I know for a fact we wont block them all..

You read a little too much into that. Punt, as when one occurs. That could mean 1 or hopefully, but not probably 8.

My sarcsam meter is about 9.7 out of 10.

The only thing with Nuke is that he seems to run backwards to catch the punt a lot. That puts you in an odd position to turn up field. I think he can be an awesome asset for us but in my humble opinion, he should back up farther on punts. I am no coach or player, but that's how it looks to me.

ROGAN end of story Nuke's to young to handle that type of pressure. The only reason I would think kiffin would let Nuke return is if, Nuke is pumped and doing good in the the game and wants to try to let him make a big play to show recruits how much freshman are gonna be an impacted if they can make the right plays.Other than that its all ROGAN!IMO

Rogan hands down. Plus i think he has a added incentive to make a play since all those Gators keep blowing up the picture of their favorite laptop stealing son Cam newton truckig Rogan in reserve of that 59-20 debacle a couple years ago

Seeing Rogan truck somebody would be beautiful. Maybe he can pull out a "Prince Hit" on Tebow. Anytime I saw the picture of him getting trucked it would be posted right afterward.

a couple years ago meyer let an undersized player return a punt against TENNESSEE to see what he could do. That play ended up being a touchdown. Now people know this kid as still undersized, but explosive as hell Brandon James.

We have nothing to lose, but all to gain.Let Nuke see what he can do!!!!

Rogan, Rogan, Rogan, Rogan

I dont care that nuke has more potential; until he actually learns how to return a punt right, the potential wont mean squat

give it to the guy who's already got a good history of returning punts at the collegiate level

to be our starting punt returner for the FL game?

I mean, I’m sure he'll figure it out eventually and he'll be a great returner. But he's had more muffed/bobbled/fumbled punt returns than successful clean fair catches/returns. And that's been AT Neyland Stadium. They're going to be at a fever pitch in g-ville and he's, well, not the most liked down there, so there will be added hated from jort nation.

I say put a proven commodity back there with Dennis Rogan. We'll have enough trouble scoring and stopping them on 3rd down, the LAST thing we need is a fumbled punt.

Nuke returns from the 50-20 yard line; anything inside the 20, let Rogan handle it. The upside of Nuke returning one to the House against UF outweighs a turnover this weekend.

Nuke needs to get better at getting under the ball. We've seen too many punts not get fielded because he's out of position. That needs to change. You can't make a great punt return without fielding the punt!

Slap the chit outta him (nukeese) about 15 seconds before he catches the ball, I mean really get thos teeeth rattlin ...He'll be so pissed off at the slapper fumbling or any poor moves will be so far away he's gonna hurt the Gayyyyyyyyytors.

That makes sense. It would be great, talk about a slap in the face. But a fumble from him in the swamp would be equally poetic justice for jort nation. And let's be honest, what's more likely?

Not to mention, didn't they pretty much go all last year without letting an opposing team field a punt?

I think the Knoxnews said everyone they tried at punt returner Monday dropped one. Nukeese returns are like Crompton passes, they are exciting one way or another.

Thus we should stick with Nuke we don't want to shatter his confidence!
