So do recruits just fax in the paper in and that's it? What is the usual experience like for recruits?

It's a little more complicate than that. Sometimes the recruit has to fax his LOI from a secret location off the school premises.

Its not a NCAA violation since they have already signed and are enrolled in school. If CDD lets them participate is another question. I can't answer that.

Don`t flame, but I believe the fax is binding ( he can`t sign with another school ) still has to sign LOI papers to make it offical.

And sometimes, there are some communities in which the townfolk don't know how to use fax machines...or so someone once said.

Nice Pahokee reference.

Fax machines...how archaic. I'm surprised biometrics aren't involved at this point.

My question is: Does CDD then have to respond to the fax to accept the commitment? What if he has decided not to?

Nope. Just a banquet to discuss the recruiting results. Hubbs has said that Dooley didn't like doing these by the way.

That's what I have heard. Dooley isn't even coming to West TN this year. Hubbs will be there instead and will probably give just as good of a presentation.

I wouldn't. It's not all about the rankings, as we all know. Also, if we don't start oversigning (which I pray we don't), then there's bound to be down years.

They all sign at their high school, with the exception of Nu Keese Richardson. We don't want Urban to find out, so we go to the local Kinko's to send the fax.
