Nothing wrong with coordinators. Several of the current top 25 is made of of head coaches who's previous job was coordinator.

Better than anyone not named Gundy who has been rumored by more than message boards to have been contacted by UT.

I'd rather have Brohm than Steele, but I wouldn't be upset with Steele depending on who his staff would be.

At this point, I have no clue where UT turns, but if there's any hope....any at all of going back with Brohm, I'd give that one more try. Recruiting is shot so I'm ignoring that. I'd take as long as needed to get my guy. If I had to wait out the NFL season to approach Marrone...assuming he'd be interested, I'd do so. As dysfunctional as our admin is, the perfect fit would be Leach. Crazy but good coach. Not sure what Sumlins plans are, but I'd call him as well. Ditto Norvell. We are already the fools of college football so there's no way to damage our brand any further. I'd work out the crap with Haslam and Currie, make a change of needed with Blackburn as AD then go after my coaching candidates, but there has to be someone or a group strong willed enough to boot Haslam from the deal as he's not going to fire Currie.
