its true football is the main sport in ktown or wat ever you guys call it... i say we get rid of the basketball program all together since nothing is good enough for ut fans... just ged rid of everybody... is uf and kentucky saying this after 2 very down years for both.. no b/c sadly they actually no something about basketball unlike most of you bandwagon fans... lets move on to football but when we go 10-2 next yr you will want kiffin head for not winning the natl championship

agreed, most UT fans are quick to forget how bad our basketball team was just a few short years ago.

I completely respect what pearl has done for us. Before we got Coach Pearl our b ball team was terrible. Im just glad we actually get to watch our team play in the big dance. However, with that said, we should have won today. We just looked sloppy and failed to execute all day long. We are a better team than Ok St. we just didn't show that today.

You keep saying that. And while it is partially true, Green had better talent, only made the SS once, and never won more than 30 games.

Dude come on. I never mention punctuation, spelling, or correct grammar; but damn, that is painful. Were you txting all this? Even if you were, that is awful. You can't expect to be taken seriously.

Pearl has spoiled us with good effort from inferior talent. Now we expect players who were elite in HS to elevate in one season to elite college players. It just takes more time. The inexperience bug got us this year. Blame the dopeheads who got kicked off the team - not the youngsters. JMO

i love how grammer is the most important thing on this board.... i became a ut football fan in 99. so i didnt follow basketball till about the tony allen years and vincent yarbrough and still basketball was not relevent at all untill pearl took over and got us in the media like kiffin is doing now.

i have no ties to tennessee the state or university and after reading most of your posts i am glad... your almost as worse as miami fans

Chill man. UT is a football school, always has been., always will be. I believe that was the point that the OP was trying to make, and that he, like many others, is excited about the future.
