Fulmer is all about Fulmer.

He wanted to keep Pruitt after going 3-7 (5th in the SEC East)

He’s done more harm than good.

Yes any knowledgeable football brain, and Fulmer is certainly that, could see the program was in death spiral with JP. But Fulmer didn’t want to go back thru a coaching search. Maybe cause he knew UT didn’t need tp spend money on that or he just didn’t want to admit his hire was a complete failure.

why would you think that? Tennessee had coaches, staff and boosters giving at least 60 k in cash and gifts away?

Did you read the article? UT began investigating it themselves and fired everyone involved. All the paid players were forced out of the program. There was not a “lack of institutional control.” Handled it much differently than Alabama or Auburn do, which just so happen to be the two schools caught cheating the most in the SEC.

B) This mo********er was literally paying recruits and their parents and still went 3-7.

Many don’t like her, but I think Plowman has done a fantastic job of getting ahead of these allegations and has handled it better than anyone could IMO.

By the wording of the letter it seems likely that wins will be erased. If they remove 11 wins over 2 seasons it will drop TN from 9th in all-time in wins to 11th.
