Nothing is stopping Patterson from being a top 10 overall pick.

I wouldn't be suprised if we was picked in the top 5 actually. He is that talented. Trust me, he isn't staying next year, and he will get drafted early in the first round if he keeps this up.

Maybe, but he isnt a very good receiver just yet. Needs to get better running routes. TBH, tb jh and cp could all get drafted after this season but they would be better served coming back next year.

I think they should play him on defense too.. The more you keep him on the field the better off you are..

The NFL will teach him how to run routes with the talent he has. When that happens no more going to classes on anything but football. He is special.

If he were on a winning team that had at least a decent defense, he would be in the heisman talk. He showed that last night. He returns kicks, plays RB, WR, and I would bet we see him at QB(wildcat) before the end of the year. That is how you climb the heisman list.

Problem with that is Bray will have to compete for his job next year if he returns.

Worley & Peterman will push for starting job.

No one cares how good your arm is if you can't win a big game.

I think our fan base is delusional that JH and CP will stay another year. JH is a 1st round pick, and i'm telling you once the combine and stuff is done CP is getting drafted top 10 overall.

Dude is talented, for sure, but I don't know about top 5 pick...yet. Maybe if he stays next year, but not after this year alone. We're talking Calvin Johnson, Larry Fitzgerald territory there.

Do you actually think a NFL team would take a chance on Bray?

He is a long way from being ready, imo.

The fact that we have arguably the top 2 wide receivers taken in the draft and we are 0-3 in the SEC is beyond frustrating.

If we just had even half of a defense worth a damn.......geez.

IMO... 1st round play maker but not there as a wr yet .... Only big play at wr came against NC State... Him and bray would both benefit from one more year

I do. Kid has almost as much talent as you can have at the QB position. With some actual coaching, he could be a star.

Doubt it, but even if so how is that a bad thing? How is it a problem to have an extremely talented qb, one of the best in the nation, and have two back ups who are both pushing for the starting job? Sounds like a problem we need to have.

Well, if so, that tells the interested recruits that if you play for Tennessee, even one year, you can get noticed enough to go to the NFL in the first round.

still wish he would've caught that one vs Georgia and the one vs UF. You're right though he's electric.

Talent wise he's definitely a first round pick. He needs to work on his route running and prove he can make the tough catches. If we fire dooley, and hire another dull coach, He's gone. We hire someone like Gruden and i'm almost sure he'll stay.

Patterson is electric, dynamic... once he catches the ball.

Has anyone noticed that Patterson never seems to help out Bray? Hunter has prevented interceptions several times. Hunter probably has more passes defended than our DBs.

WRONG!!!!!

(1) He drops more passes than he catches!

(2) It is the 7th week of the season and he still only knows how to properly execute 15 pass plays. They are spoon feeding him the playbook, week by week. Maybe by the time we play the bowl game, he will know the entire playbook.

He is no where ready to play NFL football and be an impact player. He may make a team but he will hardly see the field on special teams his first season.
If he hasn't learned the college playbook, could you imagine how long it would take him to learn a pro playbook??????

He is not NFL ready!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

One of 2 things will happen:

1) Tyler will work harder, mature and get better.

2) Tyler will assume the job is his to lose and end up sitting his Sr year behind Worley or Peterman.

I have lost all confidence that Bray can lead the team to a win vs top half of the SEC.

So, it's really not a bad thing for anyone but Tyler.

I'm just tired of all the hype about TB's talent with the end result being another loss.

My feeling is that I'd much rather have Andy Kelly or Casey Clausen than an NFL talent like Bray who doesn't win and at this point may never win during his time at UT.

CP has been electric. JH hasn't produced like I thought he would. TB is more of an enigma. Can't remember having a junior QB that I really didn't believe in at this point in his career. Of course some of that is play calling, lack of execution and a wet paper bag defense. Damn, tough being a Vol these days.

Because it's Tyler Bray's fault our defense gives up 30+ a night. If he were on LSU or a team with a good D we would be talking about him vs Geno Smith for heisman.
