Linebacker Dalton Santos arrived home to meet Tennessee defensive coordinator Sal Sunseri.
Sunseri wasn't alone on this visit as he was joined by defensive backs coach Terry Joseph and strength and conditioning coach Ron McKeefrey. The trio of Vol assistants spent about an hour and a half with the Santos family. Down two assistant coaches, the Vols are able to send McKeefrey out on the road and it showcases a different dynamic for recruits.
Otha Peters will be visiting Arkansas, but with his mother is not visiting with him.
Davante Bourque said Wednesday night Miami is out of it.
Jay Graham hit Nashville and Charlotte for 2013 players.
Derek Dooley will be in Georgia part of the day Thursday seeing some 2013 guys.
The Vols continue to recruit receiver Demetrius Wilson. Assistant coach Darin Hinshaw visited with Wilson earlier this week. Hinshaw is expected to visit with Cordarrelle Patterson
Chase Robison's father said that Robison would not visit Tennessee this weekend. His quote:
"Chase has canceled his visit to Knoxville and coach Dooley's visit. He said that he appreciated Tennessee's interest in him but he wants to be a Texas Tech Red Raider. The Vols' numbers are getting tight and a decision was needed too quickly for Chase to decide what to do. The Vols wanted him to cancel last weeks' scheduled official visit to Texas Tech to go to Knoxville, which had been planned for a month."
