I hear ya. For the most part, I have just been using scrap shells from last year, just kinda piece a box or two together from leftovers. on the bright side it saves money.

Not saying I would not do it, but it is never as fun as hunting migrators. Living by the TN river, there will always be some resident geese that someone feeds. You can kill them but just not the same.

The best part is when they offer to pay to do it. We made beer drinking money in college laying in the sand traps waiting on geese to fly by.

Just tell them you'll be gone by 8 am or so and pick up all the hulls.

This is true, but you're doing a golf course a favor and you're getting a hunt that's all but guaranteed to be successful.

Seriously though, we are talking about information that has an expiration date. It will be totally irrelevant soon. This isn't like pirating movies or music which is something people get extended value out of. This isn't some intellectual property we're talking about.

Nobody should go to a public library and read a newspaper or magazine. Somebody else paid good money for that somewhere else and it's not fair you are reading it for free. Don't even get me started on books.

And the next time your buddy lets you borrow a DVD you should politely decline because somebody else paid for that movie and you shouldn't get to watch it for free.

And when you are in your friend's car and he plays a song he downloaded from iTunes you should plug your ears and hum to ensure that you don't hear a note.

Is there a ban list or something? How do you know if someone is banned apart from them just not posting anymore?

No one knows for sure he is banned, Hubbs said he will not be copy and pasting information from his site anymore. People assume that means he is banned now. For how long, who knows.

So...just to get under Hubbs' skin, what if another VQ insider were to copy VQ's content, put it in an e-mail to Rex, and then have Rex post it here?

Hubbs would not know who the insider was and how Rex got the information. Would be fun...for a while. :)

Yeah, I heard that. I have never personally hunted in the bottoms but I know some people from the Camden area who have had some serious results over the years.
I use to hunt over in Greenfield a lot, then moved it over to Arky, always wanted to check out the "golden triangle" out in the bottoms.

Fully agree, and it isn't really close. Other boards, even with less traffic, are a cluster F of disorganization for the most part. No thanks.

I hear ya, now that I am back in Middle, it is hard to find a good hunt. It is possible when everything freezes up.. but that hasn't happened much this year

Everyone who said it's not a big deal, grown men don't tattle, hubbs didn't pay for the info, etc., It's ok to just admit you can't afford the $9.95/month to join VQ. No shame in that. Just please don't try to rationalize c/p from a pay site to a non pay site. The information will get out there anyway but it's a little ridiculous to think Hubbs and Co. should be ok with the same person copying everything they say verbatim and then bringing over here over and over again.
