Love you to death, Dane, but while you are in this shooting 'slump' try to make sure that you shoot from the same zip code as the goal itself..

As a fan I appreciate the licks that you took and the rebounds that you got in the company of 'bigs' but please ask yourself next time 'Would the team be better if I launch this or give the ball to Ramar to drive - shoot/dish..'
'Dores next - have a great game!

Someone pointed out his shoulder injury last night. I hate to say it, but Dane should only be shooting under the basket, his injuries have wrecked his shooting, that was just ok to begin with.

forget the shooting, block somebody out on a FT if you're going to be beneath the bucket, otherwise relinquish to someone who can go get a contested rebound

i am amazed by the folks on this bored that rail on Dane.

TROLLS TROLLS TROLLS

Dane battled all nigh last night. they should have called more fouls on LSU as they were pushing 3 or 4 feet under the bucket all night

yeah, Dane has never been someone that we need a lot of scoring out of, or that we even expect it...he contributes more with hustle, rebounding etc....and it was evident with the late rebounds he got last night.

having said that........man, if only he could shoot FT's consistently....i cringe every time he steps to the line.

but not bashing the kid. all heart he is.

Despite his shooting stroke, it's amazing how many deflections and loose balls he seems to be around.

Dane is da man. Can't believe a guy from Memphis would question anything about this kid. He'll be a huge loss for this "team" next year.

I can appreciate that we are Vol fans and love the heart of a player like Dane, but we spend more time making excuses for him than we do cheering. We, as fans, will miss him as a player, but we will not miss his contributions from the 4 spot.

it's the intangibles that will be missed more so than anything else.

I'm having a hard time getting a grip on the intangibles.

Aren't the intangibles things that commentators make up for lack of anything better to say - or something that coaches use as an excuse for not being able to recruit the appropriate skills for the position?

It will hard to replace Dane's effort next year with all the little things he does on the floor. I personally think Josh Tabb could be the next closes thing to Dane next season. He plays great defense and is all over the floor, very scrappy. Not a great shooter but, can knock a trey down here and there. He definately gives his all when he is out there.

As I said before, I love the kid to death. He is a scrappy player that contributes in many ways. Just saying, he needs to think before he launches. As for being from Memphis and questioning him.....please! My son goes to and is in sports at his old school. I question what a lot of people do, including your mayor, Slick Willie.
Rock on, Dane. But think before you shoot...

Dane gives alot of effort because he has to. He is used to it. He was playing against 6'7 black guys at the YMCA and stuff since he was a kid, and he became tough and gave it his all, otherwise he would get run off the court.

It isn't about trolling and giving Dane a hard time. It is about him needing to understand that he has lost his shot due to his injuries and needs to get the ball to someone else before he tries to take a shot.

Exactly!! Dane Bradshaw is a guard playing out of position by request of his coach to help out his team...
