Why, Alabama is going to kick the crap out of SC.

Not so sure about that salami fan. SC has a lot of big athleticism at the line and they are a no excuses line up and run the ball at you team right now.

It's a little early to see where the 'public' money is landing on these games, but my initial reaction (without needed reflection and study) is that taking Clemson and Fla. St. would be the safer bets of those listed. There is no 'safe' bet, as we all know. Now living in SC--surrounded with Clemson and Gamecock fans---and both sets are absolutely SURE they will win their opening games. If SC loses to Vandy---the wailing and complaining will be unbearable around here.

And that's exactly why you don't bet on them. Alabama makes a living playing those teams. You have to be creative. Your not going to power run against that team and do a whole lot. Lsu was a run heavy team and with the best Rb in the country couldn't do anything
