Georgia and Florida both suck.

So much so, that the terrible country band Fla Ga Line took it's name from those two states.

Tim O'Brien | Howdy Skies!

If y'all think Country and Western artists are dumb. Listen to Tim O'Brien. Seriously, get to know the music you're stereotyping as dumb. Fyi, he plays any and all stringed instruments, well.

This guy's son plays music entirely with his hands.

John hartford - the legend. Clogged and played arguably one of the best banjo's ever.

Composer and bluegrass virtuoso Mark O' Connor's 'Fall' won Grammy.

And finally, one of the last of the great cross trained bluegrass guys. Sam Bush. Guy is incredible.

Seriously check out Sturgill Simpson, he's arguably the best country artist that's come along in 20 years. His album, "A Sailor's Guide to Earth", is inarguably the best country album to come along in 20 years.
He has a good beat .And has the old country sound. Unfortunately he doesn't have alot of the same message. Within minutes of listening I could tell he had awakened his third eye and is a mystic new ager. That old fable book, then tells you about the Hindu god's. There sure is a message in his music but unfortunately not a good one for believers in Christ. Bad thing about songs with this message they all have a spirit connected to them, and if you except the message ,you except the spirit and down the line you will you will except the Man and Son of Perdition..That old serpent he actually sings about quite a bit in several of his songs. Not knockin him just have gotten used to hearing this same message for last 15 years or so from artist. This is why I turned it off and never had heard of this guy. Frankly it sucks because this guy has a great voice and sound. Question is did he go down to Georgia and meet the Devil to get it.. Now back to your regularly scheduled programming..lol

Well, back in the day, country music was about losing the farm, living paycheck to paycheck, fallin in love with Cindy lou, the girl that worked at the local cafe. You two living on penny's from the couch and the garden you grew but none of that mattered cause you still got to watch the sun go down while you were sittin on the porch listening to the radio with a beer in one hand, Cindy Lou on your lap and pettin the dog with the other.
Now, it's about losing your iPhone and you can't get a new one because fast food doesn't pay $15 an hour and you fell in love with Cindy Bae from Tinder but none of that matters because she's already had a threesome with your friends while you were at work on fries, and you can't have a dog because your condo association won't allow it. Hard to find the country song in that there folks.

Nothing personal, jackcrevol. Just having some fun due to feeling silly today. Probably due to that bottle of Rapazzini brand of garlic wine I downed last night.

The same biased attitude was said about the blues. Easiest thing is if you don't like a certain genre of music, Shutup and don't listen to it. I don't like certain foods, so I don't don't put it in my mouth. See how easy that is? Another thing is if someone likes soylent green, I got nothing to say about their their culinary preference. But I'd stay as far from them as I can get.

[Here’s a truth for you. Sunshine is seen only in daylight, hon.
Listen real carefully now please and I’ll tell you another one.
Music is nothing more than synchronized noises.
Produced by whiney, angry or yelling voices.]
