I am kind of shocked at the reaction I'm seeing. Disappointed, I understand. But, I'm seeing some genuine anger.

1. I think there is a genuine lack of respect for just how good Georgia is, particularly on defense.

2. There is, and it's not close, no doubt that Tennessee is moving in the right direction and that EVERYTHING, not damn near everything, but EVERYTHING is better about that football team now on 10/10/20 than this time last year and certainly when Pruitt took the job.

3. Yes, unfortunately, right now, you can't just be "good"and win the SEC or be "good" and win the division. You have to be national championship contender good. And I don't think most people here reasonably expected to be national championship contender good at this point.

4. You could have Florida's defense.

This issue is coming out after halftime they had that team right where the wanted them but a 5th year QB and experienced OL crapped the bed with back to back turnovers. If they even just punt there I think this game stays close til the end.

Thank you. Yes the second half sucked but it was clear one program had waaaaaaaaaaaaay more talent than the other. Are we seriously going into "fahr Pruitt" mode? Ridiculous!

Dude if we would of just loss a close game or even by 14 or so but our oline made some plays and held their own...I think people would have a sense of improvement. But our supposed strength got DOMINATED. And if you look at last year's score and this year's score, very minimal imporvemnet.

Yes UT is now beating the bottom feeders, there's been progress in the program. But damn, it felt like we hade made way more than what we really have until today. It was so disheartening to get blown out. We shouldn't get blown out by anyone anymore. Those days should be behind us.

Barring the fluke early TD, it's yet another 30 point loss. It's doesn't look like progress to us and we're tired to losing to UGA/Bana/UF ny a combined 100 points every year. Pruitt has been given a massive recruiting budget, a lot of money to hire Chaney and Ansley and world class facilities and we continue to get trounced

I can't believe:
1) I gave you a like, cause ... well ... you're a gator.
2) I haven't put you on ignore yet, and quite frankly, posts like this is why, even tho you're a gator.

We are not there yet, but we are headed in the right direction, and I don't know why Vol fans can't see that.

EVERYTHING IS NOT BETTER. Three years in a row we have lost to UGA by more than a two TD spread while allowing them to score more than 40 points. THAT is not better, that is worst in class performances for 3 straight ^%$#ing years.

Right. Most people here acting like we were favored to win this game. QB turns the ball over 3 times in a row seemingly. No understanding that the defense was going to get gassed after playing the full 2nd half. We were never going to win this one with JG.

I can handle losing to a more talented team, that plays up to their talent, as long as we go out and look like a well-coached team and play up to our talent.

We didn't do that tonight.

I am angry

I know Georgia is good

I didn’t expect so many mental breakdowns

I didn’t expect Tennessee to be so undisciplined

At some point I expect a Tennessee coach to have their team ready to play a complete game

I’m tired of excuses.....not this single loss, but the same old mistakes leading to the same old losses.....and of the excuses afterwards.

Nobody, NOBODY is playing defense in the SEC right now except Georgia, and they haven’t exactly played an elite offense yet. Even Bama is getting gouged so far this year. Florida happens to be about the worst of them all right now.

I am NOT a fan of this Big12 defensive approach. Agree that UT looks much improved, at least through the first half, and have as good an argument as anyone to claim the second best team in the East right now behind UGA.
