What caught my attention is that they were significantly better than us on the lines of scrimmage today.
Vols have to fix that asap.
They took us to overtime. We took one loss Georgia to overtime. Doesn’t that automatically mean they are good?I just hope the Nega-Vols are willing to credit our lads with a significant road win for the first time in the history of Josh Heupel (if you squint enough to ignore LSU, Clemson, and all those other ranked teams we've beaten away from home).
Go Vols!
A significant road win in a game where the refs seemed to have it in for us and we had a lot of bad luck. The phantom OPI call that wiped out a TD was inexcusable. But we still won.I just hope the Nega-Vols are willing to credit our lads with a significant road win for the first time in the history of Josh Heupel (if you squint enough to ignore LSU, Clemson, and all those other ranked teams we've beaten away from home).

To your point, the formula the SEC rode for 15+ years and the formula the B1G is using now is 4 to 6 really good teams and a lot of meh. When Tebows Gators, LSU, Bama, Auburn a couple of years, and Georgia towards the end of it won the NC, the league had a few elite teams, a few good teams, and almost half the league was meh or worse. Each elite team only played 2 maybe 3 games they could possibly lose. That is exactly what Ohio St, Penn St, Oregon, and 2 years ago Michigan are/were doing. It seems to be the winning formula for winning a national championship.Yeah, just great seeing MSU and Vandy becoming legitimate SEC foes. League wasn't tough enough to begin with. We needed tougher schedules.
