I work in Athens, Ga, and today myself and couple of co-workers went to lunch at a mexican restaurant here for lunch and outside the red cross next to the restaurant was David Pollack. My co-workers being UGA fans had to get their picture made and my co-workers referenced to me as "the tennessee fan". Pollack talked to me after the photo op and said he really does believe Tennessee gets into Atlanta after a Florida loss this weekend and went on to say, if not this year, when? I know he does seem like an arrogant tool bag on tv and I never have really liked him, but it was cool to hear it from an espn guy anyways.

I think its a cool story! I'm not a big DP fan but its nice to know he thinks we make it to Atlanta! So do I. :good!:

You should've asked him how that NFL career turned out. I'm sorry, too soon David?

When he asked "if not this year, when?" I'd have responded, "next year. Or the year after. Any year, really. From this point on, every year is a potential championship year for the Vols." Then I'd have asked him if he wanted me to autograph anything for him. :)

I personally don't give a da.n what he or any of the so called "experts" say about us. The reality is..they are NOT experts and too many fans hang on to every word that comes out of their mouths...then when things don't go as "predicted" fans jump to all kinds of conclusions! Example..when we were about to kick off at S.C. Booger McFarlin was saying how Kamara was going to have a big game and that we were going to roll S.C....hell..everyone within the program knew he wasn't even available due to the knee injury. The "expert" had no clue! The reality is...there's no way they follow our program as close as many fans do..therefore many of their opinions hold little validity to what's really going on within our program. As for me...I'll value my opinion over anything the "experts" say. GO VOLS!

Forgive me, but WTF is David Pollack? Anymore, ESPN goes through folks like kids through Kleenex.
