Noticed here locally over the last couple years that the number of Vol items on vehicles was decreasing. But so far in 2010 I am amazed with what I am seeing. Alabama and Florida seems to have more visual support here in Johnson City than us Vol fans. Big old A's and gators are everywhere! Pisses me off that us being as close to the university as we are that our fans are hiding now because we are in a slump.

Drag those flags out! Buy some new decals! Get some shiny front bumper tags on those cars. This is Vol country!!

Bandwagon football fans, IMO. There are a lot of people that just tout people when they are winning, and aren't a fan of anyone in particular.

You're either a Vol or you're not... I hate bandwagon fans and want nothing to do with them. They are a good thing though, because that means you are winning...

Its more common than you can imagine, working in a collegiate store i see this crap all the time and it drives me crazy, i have to explain to bandwagoner's all the time why "im wearing that ugly tennessee hat". lost a couple of customers to my response once or twice :D

Maybe it's just me, but I think putting flags on your car is a pretty tacky. I have an orange power T decal on my back windshield and Power T license plate on the front of my car. That's it. I hate people that over do it.

I see a lotta love for the Vols in Rutherford County.
Yeah we have a decent amount of support here, not what it should be. I feel like we have a ton of UT fans in the boro but like previous posters have stated they are fair weather and don't fly the colors in tough times. And I see way to much bama stuff around.

Flags are definitely a game day thing, not for everyday use

I have a Power T front license plate, and a T sticker on the bumper. The sticker was there when I bought it, and I left it. I removed the Titans sticker immediately.

agreed. but I've even seen people with pom-poms hanging out of their SUV's and huge decals on the side of their cars. To me, that's a little over the line lol

Not on game day. I don't care how ridiculous a car looks on game day. Better drive it down the strip if its ridiculous enough lol

Surprisingly there are quite a few Vols supporters in and around the Savannah GA area....not as many as I would like, but more than I expected when I got stationed here.

I got two power T's on the truck in Vegas. Have had two folks roll down the windows at red lights screaming GO VOLS!

More and more "T"s every day here in central GA. We used to have a family game to see who could spot them, but it got too ridiculously easy. I'd say I see at least 5-6 a day. Nearly as many as Georgia Tech, but nowhere near what I see for UGA.

And when I was visiting my brother in Chattanooga a couple weeks ago, it seemed like every other car had Vols paraphernalia. I'm not worried.

The POWER T on my back window is looking a bit faded and starting to peel at the corners, but it will not be coming off until I have a new one to replace it (which will be in the very near future).

Gotta admit, it seems like I have noticed quite a bit more crimson tide junk on vehicles lately though. Imagine that after the championship win...

My truck has a big T on the back, a license plate cover, and I fly flags throughout the season. Plus I make all my girlfriends put Tenn stuff on their cars too. I've converted several Bammer chicks.. one by one!!! Of course since I'm in Alabama I get to exchange birds some some POS Bammer at least once a week. But I agree with the thread. We have to stay visible! :number1:

and..... :bammer:
