first game of the year with 7 new coaches.

they looked good to me. a real solid game to build on.

like everybody else on here...I'm fully aware that the goal is to win national titles. Until then, we are still trying to work our way back to the top. But it's a process. We didn't make a f'in bowl last year and got beat by f'in UK. Did you think we were going to win the national title this year? Sure would be nice...but if you thought that was realistic...I want what you are drinking. Again, most of us understand this is the goal. But to think that's going to happen this year is just not realistic. I want to see significant progress, a few wins over the top tier teams, etc. No, I don't count this as one of those wins. But it's not a patsy win like a lot of season openers either. We have plenty to improve on but built a lot of confidence as well. Did you see the vandy/usc or msu/boise state games? F'ing awful! Watch those again and tell us you aren't relatively pleased with what you saw tonight. GBMFO!

Could be a lot of ranks jack off. I held the billet as a SGT during a deployment. But i guess you're trying to imply that you were an officer. Still im guessing supply co. or motor t

Its the first game and we are a bad call away from winning by 3Tds. Enjoy the victory. NCST is no slouch.

Can't imagine anyone would be disappointed in this W. Did we leave a few points on the field? Maybe, but at least we have an idea what we're capable of...plus, team's do get better as the season rolls on...
