Rules:

8 Team Online Dynasty
SEC/ACC
2 User per division
I'm going to try to get everyone "at least" 4 user vs. user games a season.
*NO CHEESING*
1. Rocket Catching
2. Speed rushing (if it's not fixed)
3. 3-3-5/3-2-6/quarters zone defense while showing blitz
4. Anything else the majority votes is cheese (taking advantage of the game, not playing as close to SIM football as we can)
5. No super-simming.
***You are warned now, if you cheese and a veteran says you did you will most likely be kicked out of the dynasty no questions asked. If it is a new member video evidence must be shown and then they will most likely be kicked.***

Majority vote from every member in the dynasty is how we will decide if someone is kicked. (5/8 members)

If you don't have a mic don't bother asking to be on the waiting list.
If you won't be able to be committed and get your games/recruiting in a timely manner don't bother asking to be on the waiting list.

We try to advance about every 2-3 days most of the time.

Any questions just ask in the thread and a veteran of these will probably be able to answer the question for you.

1.Harrymogenfofer (Virginia Tech) 1 ACC Champ/1 National Champ

I am a proponent to a Big 12/SEC expanded format :))).

The pros:

Built in playoff system, with two humans to a division, four to a conference.

More human BCS bowl games and a good chance at human NCAA championship games, so season finales have more of a "finale" feel.

More parity in teams, as there are more top and middle tier teams to choose from, and it would give more ability to remove the teams considered too elite.

Less regular season human games, equaling faster advancements and making existing human games that much more important.

The cons:

Perhaps not as many human games per a season.

Less annual rivalries, as one has to rotate out of conference human opponents.

I think it would be worth it.

i could go either way as far as the formatting of this thing goes. i would be all for a 2 conference setup as long as it holds everyone's interest the way the all sec setup did.

if we did go the 2 conference route, you could always set up games in custom scheduling so that there is always an out of conference rotation of games with players in the other conference. that way there would still be plenty of user vs. user matchups.....if that makes any sense.

It does. That would mean the same number of human games, actually. 1 divisional game, 3 ooc games, and probably 1 or 2 conference (other division) games.

yeah, that sounds like the way to go if we went that route. we would just have to keep up with who gets rotated onto whose schedule every year. that, or establish permanent out of conference rivalries for each player to make it less of a hassle. but that doesn't really sound fair.

Why Big 12 over ACC, though? There are a lot of SEC/ACC annual games and rivalries there with a few SEC teams so that would be a plus there. Pretty much only Arkansas and whatever Texas team for the Big 12/SEC.

It could be ACC. Big 12 just came to mind as they are the next best conference.

i would be fine with either the big 12 or acc. i actually might be more willing to try out the acc since several of us tried out the big 12 in bass's dynasty awhile back.

whatever conference it is, though, it should have a championship game at the end of the year IMO to go along with the SEC format.

Outside of Texas and Oklahoma (the two teams that probably wouldn't be available) - not many of the Big 12 teams appeal to me for whatever reason. All so bland... Nebraska is cool but its in the middle of no where and would probably be harder to recruit compared to the SEC teams.

I guess I like and am willing to play about 10 of the 12 in the ACC.

Another thing I need to know from you guys...do you want the two best teams in the conference off limits? Or just the best in each division? I would see The best team in each division seems right, but if no team is off limits I don't care either. What do you guys think?

We've talked about this before. I think the top teams in the division, if they are head and shoulders better than the field, should be off limits. But that's tentative. We'll have to see what the ratings are all like in the game, and kick the tires of gameplay.
