Not good, just lost a 5 Star commitment. Terrance Lewis

Some of our biggest commitments including Salter, Brooks, Evans and Campbell are retweeting each other saying they are "locked in #GBO"

Good. I hope that they don't transfer after Pruitt is fired since he'll makes them ride the bench during the 2021 season because he didn't hear "eye of the tiger" in his head when they made eye contact with him.

And state-run media is out in full force saying that the kid got processed out. What a crock of %%%%! Top 10 player in Florida - Top 50 player nationally - Tennessee with two linebackers that can barely play the position! But now Tennessee doesn't want him. This is laughable - Jones ran the program in a ditch; Pruitt is running it off the cliff!

Get rid of that damn redneck gump Bam'r already! He is worse than Jones and Dooley!

Fulmer would rather lose than hire a winner in Freeze.

The next football coach at UT won't be "hired" by Fulmer. While he may be at the press conference to provide an introduction, it won't be his "hire"!

How about you provide any evidence that any of these kids are decommitting over anything said by fans. You all make these ridiculous claims based solely on the fact that your are triggered by the fanbase being tired of losing.
Seriously i want any one of you "this is the fans' fault" idiots to show us one shred of evidence that kids leave due to fans and not the current situations with the people who actually impact a football team. Fans showed up in droves for nearly a decade of absolute suckage yet we never got any better...hmmm, wonder if that's because it's about the coaches and players instead.
I didn’t say they decommitted because of miserable fans on message boards (of which I’ve been one), read my original post in this thread. All I said was we can’t have it both ways-“best fanbase” as a competitive advantage and selling point and then say our negativity or positivity don’t have an impact. They are mutually exclusive by my estimation. So unless we’re willing to say no one gives a **** what we think as fans, we must disabuse ourselves of the idea that we carry no sway with people that keep their finger on the pulse of the fanbase. I don’t need an example, it’s called rational thought. Try some.

Are you and volpreacher related?
Yep and Rickey runs the local tire shop. The boys all hang out back and listen to Vol Calls on the transistor. DougAtkins91 is a deacon at their church. Life is hard in Possum Twat, but, if you keep your nose clean, and respect authority, you can get on at the box factory. Go Vols!

I’m afraid it’s time to pack it up for Tennessee football in 2020
Regroup for the 2021 season, not that I expect much from a Pruitt coached 2021 vol team

Kids do not decommit by what is said on message boards.

Kids decommit by what they see the coaches and staff are doing .
Are they,
1. Making 5 star recruits into next level players.
2. Putting those players into a game plan that allows the team to win possibly every game.
3. Making 3 and 4 star recruits into better players.
4. Finally look at their record , was their record because of close losses. Meaning they are just a couple of plays or players away from a really good season.
Or was their was record result of poor coaching and horrible defeats.

This is why I believe players decommit, heck it's why I would decommit.

Noticed a comment from The Tony Basilio Show website in regards to the Terrence Lewis de-commitment. He said that people were down-playing his de-commitment and in doing so they were just repeating Jeremy Pruitt's comment that he just didn't like the kid as a prospect after the fact. Is this true? Has anyone heard or seen something to this effect? With everything else going on, I guess I would have to say I would be somewhat surprised by a comment of this nature regarding the #1 rated ILB in the entire class. If true, wouldn't this possibly hurt recruiting even more?

So, we should lie and pump up Pruitt?
Please instruct.
Sorry...I don't follow. My point was that players/ recruits don't venture onto message boards like this. What we say here has no bearing on recruiting...at all. They spend their time on "Twittergram".

Heavens no...don't pump Pruitt up on my account. Let's drag him.

How many of you would allow your own kids to go to UT right now if you truly loved them and had their best interest at heart?

If you say you would then you love the school more than your kid.

Any 5 star player with offers to Clemson, Fl, UT, Bama who chooses UT is honestly jeopardizing their growth and future NFL stock.

It just is what it is.

FACTS; I'm surprised the prodigal son returned (Cade). Uga just put 3 OLine in the 2020 draft; 2 in the 1st round. Winning helps with exposure.

SEC front office is going to make us play UF Saturday, even if we have to dress the ladies' soccer team. Assuming A&M beats LSU this week, they will make us play the Aggies next Sat. The Vandy game will be cancelled and we're going into early signing day and the off season riding a 7-game losing streak.
