This was NOT a 'beatdown'.. More like a spanking...

I know a lot of bikers, I'm a rider myself. I wouldn't recommend stealing from any of those dudes. You need to stop agitating. I'm mostly a peaceful dude, but I realize this world is not warm and fuzzy. Sometimes you have to do things that are not nice.

However, you steal something, expect some consequences.

Video is two years old. He was a juvenile. Other kid was a juvenile. No charges filed. Are you such a bleeding heart lilly pad that you would penalize a kid two years later by jeopardizing a student athletic opportunity? I thought libs were the forgiving sort. You are one hate filled individual.

Beating on a guy, on camera, over some head phones...not smart. Still, I got in worse fights with my cousins growing up. While Trey's behavior here can't be condoned, some are making it out like he tried to curb stomp the guy, and that's just not so. He was provoked, made a bad decision, then stopped before it went to far. Have the kid run some goat trials and move on. If stuff like this becomes a pattern you deal with it more harshly. Otherwise it's just a stupid teenage scuffle, we all had them.

Stop trying to make this political. Conservatives are certainly not a bunch of tough macho men themselves. The kid handing out the beating is also probably a liberal. All of you need to grow up and man up.

I am conservative. I am Christian. I voted for Trump.
I would forgive anyone that wronged me, but I don't see what my forgiveness has to do with this situation.
Trey's actions are the only thing that matters as far as his opportunities go. There are plenty of guys that screw up golden opportunities (josh Gordon, Darick Rogers, johnny manzel, aaron hernandez).

I don't see how my actions can be considered hate filled, but a guy pounding into another guy is perfectly acceptable. Can you answer that question?

We're told the video was brought up by multiple schools during the recruiting process -- but Tennessee ultimately decided Trey is not a bad guy.
As one Tennessee source put it, "Ask anyone in the state, they will tell you he's an unbelievable kid. They'll tell you who he really is. Not the video."
We reached out to Ole Miss to try and get Tony's side of the story. So far, no word back.

It has nothing to do with street cred so much as most of us believe you are vastly overreacting.

Most of us agree violence is not the first response one should take, especially on camera.

However, most of us also don't see what happened as anything more than a few swift punches against someone who, by all accounts, COMPLETELY deserved it. Having something stolen from you is infuriating, and those who take what is not theirs deserve whatever they get sometimes.

I think your heart is in the right place, but the claims that he should be suspended for a whole season, or sit a few games, or be kicked off the team (I know, not from you) are just outrageous.

This happened two years ago. He was a juvenile at the time. The other kid was a juvenile. This incident was not reported to the police. And I haven't seen any reports that the "victim" is looking for "justice" over this fight. The "victim" cares less about this than people on this forum calling for "justice."

This is a non-issue. It was a fight between two kids. It happens all the time.
