Exactly, anyone that sees that and thinks that was some major beatdown has obviously never been in a real fight. He was punching him in the head meaning trey was hurt more than his "victim"
Had it been something bad someone would have went to hospital and charges would have been pressed.
I didn't say you would either. You said your friends would, so when you are visiting your friends, get me an autograph from Aaron Hernandez. I was kind of hoping Hernandez was one of the friends you were talking about.ilot:
This.. I've seen a couple and been in one real one (vicious fight) in my life..
This was NOT a 'beatdown'.. More like a spanking...
This is being way over dramatized by trollvol and a couple of others...
Keep traffic flowing and move along...
I know a lot of bikers, I'm a rider myself. I wouldn't recommend stealing from any of those dudes. You need to stop agitating. I'm mostly a peaceful dude, but I realize this world is not warm and fuzzy. Sometimes you have to do things that are not nice.
But if agitating is not nice, there are times that I am supposed to do it. This street cred thing is so hard to understand, but I'm coming along
You know this is a football forum, right? Where people come to express their opinions and there are often disagreements?
Why wouldn't this sentence apply to all of the people defending the assault? At least where I am coming from, I have the law to say why the action is uncalled for. Your side says "street cred", so why are you and others "expecting others to live by" street cred if you're supposed to keep your values to yourself?
Video is two years old. He was a juvenile. Other kid was a juvenile. No charges filed. Are you such a bleeding heart lilly pad that you would penalize a kid two years later by jeopardizing a student athletic opportunity? I thought libs were the forgiving sort. You are one hate filled individual.
Stop trying to make this political. Conservatives are certainly not a bunch of tough macho men themselves. The kid handing out the beating is also probably a liberal. All of you need to grow up and man up.

Uh-oh, it made TMZ, so it's big time news now. And apparently the University didn't come out condemning it, according to TMZ. I smell another United Airlines coming.
And, now the 2 guys follow each other on Twitter... lovely ending to the story...

A fist fight wouldn't be that big of a deal. Both sides would be throwing punches. This wasn't a fist fight. This was a 1 sided beat down that continued after the guy was lying on the bed, possibly unconscious. If the other guy had thrown a punch first, I would agree with you.

"Our Vols sources tell us the team was very familiar with the video and determined it was shot almost 2 years ago at an Under Armour football camp when Trey was 15 years old.
We're told the video was brought up by multiple schools during the recruiting process -- but Tennessee ultimately decided Trey is not a bad guy.
As one Tennessee source put it, "Ask anyone in the state, they will tell you he's an unbelievable kid. They'll tell you who he really is. Not the video."
We reached out to Ole Miss to try and get Tony's side of the story. So far, no word back.
Interesting point ... both guys now follow each other on Twitter."
It has nothing to do with street cred so much as most of us believe you are vastly overreacting.
Most of us agree violence is not the first response one should take, especially on camera.
However, most of us also don't see what happened as anything more than a few swift punches against someone who, by all accounts, COMPLETELY deserved it. Having something stolen from you is infuriating, and those who take what is not theirs deserve whatever they get sometimes.
I think your heart is in the right place, but the claims that he should be suspended for a whole season, or sit a few games, or be kicked off the team (I know, not from you) are just outrageous.
