Not good (involving Trey Smith)

It really doesn't bother me. It saved the police time investigating theft and everyone lived to play another day. I support Trey Smith through this. Go Vols!

That's the point. If you'll read through the thread, I described exactly what OJ did. He didn't batter anyone, and was trying to get his stuff back. The things he did worse were that friend brandished a gun (deadly weapon) and they detained the guys by telling them not to leave (kidnapping), and now he's serving years in prison for those 6 minutes.

Here's what OJ said

Guess that makes OJ a real man according to many of the guys on this thread. :pilot:

Don't kid yourself, OJ went to jail for killing his xwife and her boy friend. This other is what they could get to stick.

Do you have kids? if that was your kid lying on the bed taking blows to the head from a 300 lb athletic monster, would you feel the same? If he caused permanent damage to your kid, would you be ok with that? The answer is obvious to any mature adult.

In Florida, if the other guy had a gun and shot Trey, he could use Stand your Ground and possible be justified fearing for his life. You think the Treyvon Martin beating he gave George Zimmerman was worse than that?

Do you have two accounts, are you and gooooovols the same person?

Yeah cause blows to the back of someone's head are so easy to see.

The video caption literally says "ass whooping".

Yeah, because guys that get pummeled upside the head by 300lb athletes that can bench press God knows how much weight walk away without a mark all the time.

If the objective was to beat the crap out of the other dude, Trey never would have let him get up among other things. You think if he wanted to really mess the guy up that he would have let him walk away uninjured?

there are only a few possibilities here.....

1. Trey hits like a *****.

2. The dude he was hitting can magically take repeated blows to the head without experiencing any sort of injury.

3. Trey really didn't put it on him like he could have. Trey let the dude get up and walk away knowing that he didn't really hurt the dude, but made his point.

It is simple. You steal from a very strong and large man you get slapped around a little. i have two boys and if one stole from some person and he gets slapped around. Well that is a life lesson. Trey is a monster and could of destroyed that kid. Nothing to see here but one learning a life lesson. Go Trey and Go Vols!

This is just insane.

Until you've been pummeled in the back of the head by an all-world offensive tackle, please STFU about it. Those are illegal strikes in the UFC. He threw a haymaker after he pretended to let the kid up.

Again, I'm not trying to crucify the kid. He made a mistake that I hope he stops making, but it's telling that you guys are trying to invent an alternate reality here.

Just stop, you're embarrassing yourself. What Smith did isn't a big deal. My brother and I got in much worse fights growing up.

Oh, and you calling a kid who has never played a down of college football "all world" is equally embarrassing.

One guy did not throw hands. He only wanted a way out. It's one thing to throw the first punch. It's a completely 'nother thing to throw all 20 punches, 19 of them against a prone opponent.

If I werw Gray, I wouldn't tell on Smith either. I'm not a rat. None of this means it was a good decision on TS's part.

Of course the kid was looking for a way out. He is a thief. He is a thief that thought it was wise to make a rude comment about Trey's deceased mother to boot. That's what they do...look for an escape. He didn't find one that time. He got instant justice.

I do not see it as a mistake. I see it as you stole my stuff and now you have to take an butt whipping. Don't Steal and you don't get wrapped in the head.

How do you know he's a thief?

What if Smith beat up the wrong guy? Then what?

Did not know about the mom comment tho. Is that in the video?

Do they still have that MMA mat in the training facility?

If they do, look out.

Maybe we could get a cage match with Trey, Ovince St Preux, Jennings, AJ Johnson, Teez Tabor, and Kublanow.

Just bc TS didn't go all out doesn't mean it's not a beating.

Why are you saying he wasn't hurt. Is there a link to that info?

I bet CBJ already knew about this.

Move along, nothing to see here. #1 player in the country isn't getting suspend over old news.

3 and yes Regis that is my final answer.

He should be gone. I don't care how good he is. I don't care if the other guy stole his headphones. That is a problem.

All these post talking about "fights happen". That wasn't a fight. It was a beat down. When you are beating a guy that is down, the fight stops. When you keep going, that is illegal. He could have cause serious permanent damage to that man.

I think you have fighting confused with boxing.
