It's in Gainesville. We haven't won there since 03. We aren't as good on the road, especially at night.

It doesn't look good.

I voted maybe. Unfortunately, I must admit Billy has prepared his team extremely well vs Tennessee all 3 games he’s played the Vols. He hasn’t done as well vs other schools on their schedule. Heupel on the other hand has had his team prepared better for Alabama than he has Florida.

Not getting this narrative

People are complaining that we're not recruiting well enough, esp after the Ohio State game, but flarada is recruiting at the same level as we are now
He out recruited us in 2024. As it stands right now, we have a slightly better class for 2025. I mean did you watch our game against them last year? We barely won. And sorry but they are trending up. With one of, if not the hardest schedules in the nation last year, they finished on a 4 game winning streak including wins over #9 Ole miss and #22 LSU.

Your narrative that Napier sucks is just false.

19-19 overall

Year 1
6-7

Year 2
5-7

Year 3
8-5

People are acting like that clown is Saban 2.0 because he had a 5 loss season instead of a 7 loss season?

Results matter, and the results show that Napier is a terrible coach.

Why do a few of us insist that going on the road is a problem for Heupel?

You win some on the road against good competition, and you lose some. Remember LSU last year? A win. Florida two years ago? A loss. Oklahoma this year? A win. Arkansas? A loss. It happens.

Going on the road in the SEC is just hard.

So stop imagining curses or critical weaknesses or anything like that.

We were 2-3 on the road this season. 1-3 the season before. 3-2 the season before that. Together, 6-8 in true road games over the past three years. Including some mighty good teams in the mix.

That's not horrible, not in the SEC. Not yet championship caliber, but getting there. Bit by bit.

Go Vols!
Say it louder to the ones in the back Hoss

Beat the good teams on the road, and your rivals. 22 UGA. 23 Florida. 23 Alabama. 24 UGA. 24 OSU. All lost on road. No road wins versus good teams or the rivals.

That is 100000 percent a problem winning games on the road that matter. From wherever you are in the room.

I don't think FL is trending up. They over-achieved this season, sure (to get to 7-5). Found a way to surprisingly beat LSU and Ole Miss.

But 2024 is only one data point.

Next year, they again play a murderer's row, including LSU, Miami, Texas, Texas A&M, Georgia, Ole Miss, and Tennessee.

Once again, if they get bowl eligible they will have done well. If they could repeat 7-5, it would be very good for them.

I doubt 7-5 in 2025. 6-6 is more likely.

Go Vols!

If you think UF beating LSU and Ole Miss to close out their SEC games you just didn't watch them. As others have said, the Gators improved all over the field, dramatically, in the second half of the season. Hey, surprised me as much as anyone.

Next year? Based on what i know now I'd give UF the distinct advantage. But with injuries, portals, free agency, and quantum computing allowing matter to be in two places at once, I have little confidence in knowing who will be on the roster by then.

Nobody is saying he is Saban just stop. But to say he isn’t trending up is just false. But whatever man continue to believe whatever you like.

Florida going after NC State defenders. The Same NC State defense we hung 51 on this year.

As each day passes I'm getting more confident that we beat them by at least 2-3 TDs next year.

Great wins at LSU and OU no doubt. But this is specifically talking about UF. When was the last time we beat UF in the swamp? Heupel hasn’t yet. Doesn’t mean we can’t. It’s just that given the history and our problems on the road the likelihood of us winning is slim. Even you have to admit we are much better at home than on the road.

1) Potentially elite QB

2) They finished the season strong. Especially defensively, didn't give up over 17, including a dangerous OM team.

I can see them being hyped, though I'd say more of ~top 15. Now...us going INTO the swamp, that might be our 2nd toughest game next year.
