Just wanted to say that I LOVE how when people say "this is the best WR core UT has ever had," that the initial responses are post about the receivers we had back in the 90s: Price, Copeland, Parker, Pickens, Wilson, Nash, Kent.

If Dooley is drawing comparisons to the 90s in ANY facet of the game, it goes to show he is at least doing SOMETHING right! :good!: As long as he keeps on bringing in the talent were heading in the right direction. He still has a lot to prove though.

Excited for this season. Hopefully Dooley can start drawing more and more comparisons to the teams of the 90s.

Go Vols!

cant wait to see all these guys on the field at the same time, i have a feeling were going to be seeing alot of this:loco: this season. that being said its not fair to throw them in the same conversation as the guys in the 90's. they won a championship and are the best tennessee team weve ever had. GBO!

Justin Hunter , Darick Rogers, Cordarelle Patterson, ... And for what it's worth Zach Rogers will all probably move on after next season wth offensive success we plan on having. BUT, if we are able to keep all of the underclassmen to stick around for a senior season then we could be comparing future offenses to that 2012/2013 squad.

CDD is getting it done, I don't care what any of the negavols say since I can't see their posts anyway..

Without those key injuries, last year was a 8-9 win season. with a top 10 recruiting class. So it just knocked him a year back from where he should be.

That all changes this year, mark it down.. we have the depth now where a injury or two shouldn't be able to knock us so far off

Do people not remember how effective Zach was at the slot with DR and JH in the first 2.5 games? Hell even when Arnett went in at Florida fr Hunter out wide and at slot, Zach was still effective. I think the starting role really overwhelmed him among other things.

I wasn't the one making the comparisons to the 90s. I wasn't the ones saying "this will be the best WR core ever at UT" either. But hey, Its not like I don't think it COULD be. :D

It has the chances of being a dangerous offense and I hope it is. But like others said, lets not compare them to the Vols of the 90's just yet.

I agree, forth sight is a pretty good thing to have.

allvol who?

QUOTE=allvol123;6375329]Life is fine. What's the matter? Hurt your feelings when people don't buy into the coach you love so much? Too bad. Dooley is a failure. Look at Coach Martin, 3 big wins and a sweep of UF in year zero(Dooley terminology). Dooley sucks, your issue that you are not clever enough to figure it out.[/QUOTE]

This guy. I like to aggravate him in my spare time.

I don't see all 3 going. reason is atleast one will want to come back to be go-to guy.

Would be interesting to have Neal in the backfield as RB. I would imagine that his work at receiver would make that role a little more interesting, add a crease to the offense.

No, I don't remember that.

1st 3 game stats for ZR last year:
Montana - 1 catch for 14 yards
Cincinnati - 2 catches for 25 yards
Florida - 2 catches for 34 yards
