I stumbled across this very interesting article this evening while doing some research on potential coaches.
The article states, "Dont expect money to factor into Kellys decision. He spent 14 seasons as an assistant coach at his alma mater, University of New Hampshire, and cut his teeth at schools like Columbia and Johns Hopkins. Money has never been a guiding factor for Kellys career, and thats not going to change with him reportedly owed more than $18 million the next three years. (No one is quite sure who owes him what.)"
Chip Kelly is a man who would bring immediate credibility, and he would save the recruiting class.
The man practically invented the up tempo, spread offense, but he also has an open mind to study others.
I also found it very interesting that he allegedly went to study Coach Cutcliffe's offense this spring.
I'm 100% sure it will NEVER happen, but at least we can dream.
